100% not true you just completely ignored my post. Every season is evaluated individually 9 wins was the expectation for a few of Miles seasons. You're the one being biased and you absolutely take a pro Miles stance on every discussion including him to say otherwise is dishonest. You love Miles and overrate him constantly and that's fine there's nothing wrong with being a fan I underrate him a lot I know that. Nobody's 100% objective when taking about a team you love it's impossible to be.

But Miles' last two full years were 8-5 (5th place SECW) and 9-3 (4th place SECW) with the recruiting classes, respectively 2014-2012 (jrs in freshman in 2015- juniors in 2015) of #2, #6, & #13. I'll tack on he was at .500 in 2016

People are just pissed because Miles staff was. General downgrade overall from this one based on the fact O is so far less proven than even Miles was at OKC. All Miles had to do was let go of the offense.

I take a factual stance.
I have repeatedly acknowledged Miles' shortcomings.

Please explain how stating facts about his win %, final rankings and accomplishments is overrating him?

It's no my opinion miles has one of the best win % in sec history.
It's not my opinion that under miles we had as many top 10 finishes as the previous 40 years combined.

The fact that you take these FACTS as defending or overating Miles is telling.
I purposefully stay away from claiming miles a great coach because I don't thing he was a great coach and the label of GREAT is subjective.
Accomplishments, titles, and final rankings are objective facts.
If I said the earth revolves around the sun am I overating the sun?

The problem is that those facts makes certain opinions about miles ignorant.

I just find it funny that since 2012 lsu posters on hear proclaimed we had as much talent as any program and it was miles holding us back. Now that he is gone people are saying we aren't all that talented. I've even seen a poster say that Miles left 0 with a pile of mess talent wise.

So 9-3 this year by CEO is slightly worse than Miles (better overall recruiting ranks on the team). And that is the bar, at least in my mind.

We won 10 games 4 of the last 5 full years under miles and it was deemed underachieving and it was stated by many people that the only thing standing in the way of LSU football winning titles was Les Miles. Now that we have removed that dead weight we should be winning titles in the next 2 years.

How's the facts on that one work when, as I put just a couple of posts up, his last two full seasons were 9-3 and 8-5 with 4th and 5th place finishes.

So, hold on let me work the math on this one...

I'm back. So me thinks "4 of 5" of his last is impossible since his last two full seasons were not 10 win season. You can says 3 of 5, 4 of 6, etc. But the number will always be at least 2 less than the total. Forever and ever.

You don't follow recruiting and haven't seen the multiple RB's that have committed to LSU last week?

I wonder if Ree is following recruiting enough to notice 1 of the 3 RB just decommitted.

Yeah, just okay to hire the #1 recruiter in the nation from last year who has ties to Alabama.

Or if he noticed that 1 of the top recruits a LB from Georgia decommitted bringing the total to 3 decommitts in as many weeks but least his family ties kept O from giving a speech in Alabama and Booger gave it instead

2015 was 9-3 with a game cancelled, clearly he would have been 10-3, that's what he meant.

However if we use the MadRee standard Miles was 11-5 his last season
