Read between the lines. It's also rare that an AD has that much input and influence on Coordinator positions since it's really the head coaches call. Alleva's involvement pretty much says he's wary of trusting Ed hiring people and Alleva is pushing for certain things. These are not good things. AD should have very little say about Coordinators beyond how much they cost.
