Oh, and as far as watching Houston football. I am god damn proud I didn't waste hours of my life watching a junior college team in a junior college conference play football and finish in sixth place. I live in Houston and wouldn't have wanted to see them gain 303 yards in a 38-16 loss to 23 point underdog SMU or 287 against 1-7 in the AAC Tulane.
I'm sorry if that seemed harsh. I hope you fill the "more sports board" in on all the Houston games this coming season. I look forward to seeing your updates with play by play stats on the players they have.

Another strawman. I don't know why you find this so hard to comprehend but it is not about liking or dislike the coach for the rest of us. It seems obvious you have some ties to O, I just judge the coach on his objective record. I also do not see things as i extreme or the other. No coach really does everything right or everything wrong. I could find positives about even Curley Hallman
(he did sign Faneca and coach Mawae, arguably the best pro players LSU has produced in the last 30 years). Despite what you and your pal think, i do hope i'm wrong about O, I hope he does restore us to elite level and wins SEC and National Titles. Just like i hoped Jones would do in BB. He started off reasonably well, signing Martin and Mickey, made the NCAA and signed the #1 player, but we see how that ended. My biggest feat about O however, is not that he tanks like he did at OM, that would be simple. Who has more affect on a program?
An interim coach that didn't hire a single staff member,didnt run the offense,and didnt run the defense.
Or
An actual head coach that chooses his staff,is heavily involved in the offense.
Because one of these you said was meaningless and one you use as a reason to hire a 55 year old career dline coach that has never run a successful offense, defense or program.
You can stop using Herman. Every coordinator at a p5 program is more qualified than Ed Orgeron. Ed Orgeron has never in 32 years been a successful head coach. In fact he has been the worst head coach ever at a program full of shite coaches. In 29 of his 32 years in coaching no one thought enough of his coaching to give him a coordinators job. Let that sink in.
