Yea that's what I figured. They are probably just trying to move tickets. I can't complain though.

Im not saying LSU wont have a decent showing but paying face value and not getting to pick your seat isnt very wise

As an alum, booster, and TAF member (no, not that many points) I love this. I consider this a good use of my donation!

In fact, I don't think they are going far enough. Use the kitty money to provide transportation (a bus obviously). That would be the most expensive (maybe $80 in gas) and most risky part for college kids.

Lodging would be tough. But maybe something cheap out of town for each bus load.

LSU is going to pay for the unsold allotment anyway. Might as well hedge that as much as possible and make it look as if LSU fans are excited to travel to a non-bcs bowl.
