That is your only benchmark for the money? Score points. That's it? Winning isn't important, just light up the board and all is well.
The financial penis envy on this board is less than childish. When you do something really well, you too might make a lot of money

Uncommen Cents you miss the point every time. It's not about stats! We look discombobulated, confused, not well coached all the time.

We could throw for 120, run the ball well and everyone would be fine!! It's not smooth and it's not productive. We are going to get beat. Please look at the last two years.

Here's a news flash, TIGER FANS WANT IT FIXED BEFORE WE LOSE!!!

What's our SEC record after the month of September these past two years?

If you can't see what's going on you're blind. You can't

seemed like Kornheiser actually looked things up compared to ATH.

definately, this isn't about the players on the team. This is about the leadership, or lack there of.

No mention of the awful offense. Maybe we're not booing because we're not on top. We're booing because we realize with a decent offense this team can win a title but the way things are we know we're headed for a repeat of last year

Booing is perceived how it is received. The audience can't read your mind. On the surface, it appears the LSU fan base has booed J.Lee into a head case and now are doing the same to JJ.

Please read this. It's not about the losses. Sometimes you get beat and that's ok. You work and improve and that's what makes the paths to championships all the more sweet.

Miles has the uncanny ability to actually get in the way of progression. Best example I have. No one was mad at Miles for the loss to Alabama last year. Plenty of people were mad about Florida/Ole Miss.

Can you see the difference?

i see your point and its valid but how do you not know that he impeaded anything in the Bama game with some type of call or strategy...?..

just because we didnt see it or plain as day doesnt mean it didnt happen....ole miss, fla....those everyone saw....what about the things we havent seen?...how many games has that cost us?...with the talent we have....hmmm...

your op?

What I don't get is how does booing help anything? What does it do? It shows your displeasure but how does it help fix the problem. It doesn't do anything but look bad.

I don't know a single LSU fan that is happy with the offense so far. But most are not ready to jump off the ledge and start booing players, coaches and or play calling. It doesn't solve a damn thing. In fact, if Miles is as stubborn as some believe, it may only strengthen his resolve not to respond the way the Boo Birds want him to.

Showing displeasure may not affect Miles' thinking, but I'm sure it will affect Alleva's thinking.

Agreed

Not to mention our QBs emotional state is about as fragile as Samuel L Jacksons bones in "Unbreakable".

Nobody loves JJ at this point, but obviously hes the starter, and if a change hasnt been made (or wont be vs Tenn) then it wont happen.

Booing someone whos obviously aware and sensitive of his fan bases displeasure only makes him force throws, and try to overextend himself.

He wont get better by feeling like shite in his own stadium

I dont think someone in a position of power such as Alleva needs fans booing to turn on the magic lightbulb

Write a letter, withhold donations, bitch on the Rant, do anything. Regardless of how bad the offense has looked, booing a Top 12, undefeated team while winning is just bullshite.

Not disagreeing at all. I am trying to give him some benefit (it's hard). But you and I are speaking the same language. That is why people are so angry. Miles cannot arrange the talent and be innovative.

I don't expect many changes to be made against tenn. I expect them to just do what needs to be done to win that game.

Why most fans are booing when we are still 4 N O is because of what happen when we come visit Florida the past two years. They beat us in a heads up fight and the one thing that could have won that game for us last year was an offense. Same thing with Bama, an offense would have ensured victory.

I specifically said that they are booing Les

That's little more than a cya claim.

The emotional reaction is to the product on the field which is produced by the players on that field.

Anyone on that field will conclude the booing is toward them be it coach or players.

It's amusing that some feel booing can be separated out, but the real unfortunate part is that fans seem unable to grasp or care bout the harm they do to their own.

I don't think anyone claims LSU is BYU-like. I think 175 passing yards per game isn't an unrealistic expectation.

Wait. 175 passing yards was the complaint last year. It wasn't enough for the rantards (not you). Look, that open letter crap in the Advocate also did not help. It forced Alleva to send out a response and effectively changed the philosophy of the program. After that, Miles stated we were going to run and become more physical (which means smash-mouth football) eventhough I agreed with this. Now we have it with a conservative passing game and people are not happy because we're not throwing for the same amount of yards per game that Jefferson was last year. We've always only had two options at the QB position from last year to this year. Miles was always going to choose the safer option just like Saban would have and still continues to do (the QB who makes the fewest mistakes turning the ball over). It is the smart move. Slinging the ball all over the place like crazy will quickly get you where South Carolina and Arkansas are this week. 357 yards by Mallet was great, but equals a loss with the 3 INTs.

I agree with you and also think we should be a power smash-mouth running football team. Even those have to pass sometimes, and I would take a conservative passing game.

We have one of the worst in all FBS. These are far different things.

You can boo Les but the players don't know the difference. Nor do the recruits at the game.

I don't think you are giving them much credit. It's pretty obvious to everyone in the media and on the internet that LSU fans hate Les Miles and want him gone. I'm sure recruits and players are aware of what is happening around them.

LSU is in a battle with Auburn for Greg Robinson and I'm sure hearing fans booing won't help push him to LSU.

If that alters his decision, he isn't someone we want at LSU.

Really; I have been an LSU fan for 59 years and I don't want Miles gone and I don't think the majority of LSU fans want him gone either. Speak for yourself but please don't speak for me!
