Let's look at this whole situation.
Both Will Wade and Sean Miller (Arizona's HC) were both subpoenaed. Both were on federal wiretapping.
Miller coached the whole season (Arizona didn't make the NCAA tournament this year).
How much have we heard about Sean Miller?
How was yahoo able to get Wade's conversation and not Miller's?
Remember, this is a federal investigation involving Christian Dawkins, it's not the NCAA doing an investigation. If the NCAA ignores this whole thing then there is no reason why LSU should fire Wade right?
I am not at all saying this is what happened. First of all, I don't have proof. It's more of a theory. But maybe when this yahoo article came out and then the article saying LSU should fire CWW and then Dickie V's tweets saying the same thing maybe Alleva felt that he had to take some type of action, but on the other hand, that would be like saying CWW is guilty of doing something.
If CWW wasn't suspended that would have been a whole different conversation. So to address the temporary situation, Alleva announces Wade is suspended, but then a few days later, Wade puts out a statement that he isn't guilty because there is his side of the story.
They leave it at that and wait until the trial. By the time it is over college basketball will be flying under the radar (CBB gets the most media attention between the last week of the regular season til the end of the NCAA tournament).
There will be a statement released by Alleva sometime soon after the trial announcing that he has decided to lift the suspension of CWW. There will be some kind of statement about how after the trial Wade met with Alleva and after learning of the whole situation it has been determined that Wade didn't violate any NCAA rules...
Between the summer and then the beginning of football season, by the time CBB starts up next year it will be forgotten about.. You know the NCAA wants this to go away because the last thing they want to have to do is to start looking into each program that was tied to this federal investigation in some way.
If they penalize every program that violated some recruiting rule, that would be terrible for the NCAA. So I think the longer this goes without hearing anything, the better chance it is CWW will be back.
With that said, you never know.

...with the WW situation
At this point it seems pretty obvious that the administration is willing to wait until they meet with Wade to reach any decisions. Which means they've accepted he won't meet with them (with the NCAA present) prior to the trial date.
Two things could happen coming out of that meeting. Either they hear enough that they feel will convince the fan base he needs to be fired or they'll move forward with Wade as coach.

Do we get left behind and have to make a BS hire?
It doesn’t make a difference if Alleva and F King are still around

Not really. They may have decided to fire him and are just waiting until after the tournament to do it.

Let's get rid of F King and Alleva first and then see where things stand.

Why? Tournament's over for LSU. No reason to hold on to him for another week.

I don’t know, it’s a good question why we haven’t cut bait and fired Alexander and Alleva yet.
