That was when i finally gave up on him.
WHAT did you do, when it was about 8mins to go and we were down by 7, and he led that drive to tie the game at 21? just curious. I know you dont know this so ill tell you, in that dirve 3 diff times we faced 3rd and long adn JL completed passes to keep drive going.
If you've given up on ANY fresh player that "thrown" into a situation he wasn't ready for and wasn't supposed to be in yet, started 8 games threw for over 1800 yards, and had a defense that couldnt stop bad news fuking pee wee football bears, then you are FUKING DUMB frick.... and you don't truly support this team much less its players.
SOme of you people make me sick.

I bet you would be leading the charge huh chief??
JL would bitchslap you and take your fat g/f home if he wanted... truth is, you wouldn't open your mouth and say anything close to the garbage you spew about him on this mess board.
Dude, I would imagine your posting days on this board are numbered, keep it up... please.

I hope JL proves everyone wrong. I think the game is just happening to fast for him. If it all just clicks and the game seems to slow down for him, then look out. He could turn out to be one of the best, no one really knows. But all these type of threads really aren't helping.

Maybe another year of sitting the bench might help, but if we have better QB material, I'd suggest he either switch positions or transfer. LSU can't afford his learning curve.
people tend to forget how bad Jamarcus played when he was young.

Bama...when he didn't run and dive for the first down, but instead floated the ball out of bounce like a little p-word. He has all the talent to be successful.

the moment i gave up on him was when he could have walked for a first down but stopped and threw that horrible lob pass up over the RB's head and out of bounds. i wanted to throw my remote through the TV

The buzzkill of a pass on the first play of the game against UGA....then the subsequent int. for td's in that were the difference in the score.

Still haven't....he was a fricking freshman!

You really think so? I mean, I was in school with some really shite teams (like '92), and those guys were heroes at the Tiger, Sports, etc. You really think a starting QB for LSU would get shite on in Tigerland because he's struggling?

So you couldn't hack college?
Thanks, firemen (all of you).

It's over. J.L. is a back up. He might be a very important one. There is no more drama.... wake up and let's support both, and next year, all of the QB's.

N. Texas game (everyone in the stadium knew where the ball was going..they just did not have the talent to defend it.)
I thought he had turned the corner in the 2nd half of the troy game but found out later that his physical talents greatly exceeded his understanding of the position.

Me, too! He could've run for miles on that play. Instead, he lobs a grenade over KW's head.

I really gave him the benefit of the doubt most of the year being a freshman and all. I was at the alabama game, sitting on the 30 yardline, when on third down and three he rolled to my side, he could have walked for 10 yards but instead threw the ball out of bounds.
Precisely the moment when I said that he cannot be entrusted with leading the team - ever.
THis demonstrated total lack of football instinct - and I don't think that is something that can be taught or coached. If you don't have any instinct for the game, you cannot be expected to learn it or lead others towards excellence.
And as I recall, he only need 3 or 4 yards for the first down. Regardless of distance, I do know that the first down was there without doubt and he threw the ball away.

Its like my dad always said:
Before you critacize someone, try walking a mile in their shoes... because by the time you critisize them you'll be a mile away and you'll also have their shoes
