I think the Nats did the right thing keeping Crews in the minors for now

Langford made Rangers out of spring training and is hitting
266 with no homers and 8 rbi and is protected by a much better lineup then Crews will have in Washington

For all the hype Langford still looking for first big league home run

Langford hitting .266 out of the gate is pretty impressive. No home runs yet doesn’t mean much.

It’s not like it used to be. Can only expand roster to 28 instead of 40 like in the old days. Hopefully he’s one of the two call ups.

What about Gausman? Nola? Lange? Smith, or is there any other player from LSU who is already in the majors? What about the other MILB former Tigers, do we not have to cheer for them?

He will probably get called up before September.

I think there are some contract terms that make some teams hold off on calling a guy up, but him & Skenes will both be in the big league this season

Nats need to keep winning. Abrams has been raking. Ideally Crews would hit second behind Abrams for the next decade. Talk about some RBI potential.

There's also that Skenes guy who is pretty good too. And all the other former Tigers playing pro ball.

But, yes, I'm excited about Crews too and he shouldn't last much longer in the Minors.

Ehhh, I know he's on a home run tear at the moment, but he's got a .741 OPS right now against AA pitching. He'll definitely move up to AAA in the coming months, but I don't think the Nats are in any hurry to start his service time clock unless he absolutely forces their hand by tearing it up in the minors.

That’s not bad for a rookie. It is the mlb after all. The toughest sport to make it in by far.

He needs to shave off the frickin beard, keep the neat mustache and continue what he’s doing! It’s not necessary to look like a woolie-booger to play MLB!

266 is very impressive for a rookie right out of college.

Every time one of these threads gets started, people are talking out their arse. 1/2 of them thought crews would start the season in the bigs
