LSU Student Tickets Sold Out
BOONE, N.C. - The Appalachian State University athletic ticket office needed just 39 minutes Monday morning to sell its allotment of student tickets to the Mountaineers' season opener at LSU. Students and fans that were not able to secure tickets to Saturday's game can watch the action on ESPN with the broadcast scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. EST

Good to see a non-BCS OOC team actually sell their allotment and are bringing a decent crew on the road.

I would like to see them bring a full crew. LSU can pack Tiger Stadium without them, of course, but I like to see a team with real fans.

I agree...I want as many of them as possible in hopes that they have a great time and pass it on to the rest of the country. The actual game should be good for a while, but in the end, I do not think the APPY's will be talking about the score much.

They waited until today because it is the first business day that every student could be on campus. Freshman moved into on-campus housing on Friday while others moved into on-campus housing Saturday. We have a point system for students for attending games. The top 50 point leaders had two tickets reserved for them. Thats where I got mine and they are damn good seats. 8 rows from the field in Death Valley is way better than the last rows of the Big House.

That'll be a healthy drive from Boone but I am sure it will be worth it win or lose. IF you do venture to New Orleans this weekend, be careful around the FQ on Sunday...it's southern decadence weekend.

39 Minutes

......which is about 29 minutes longer than it will take for their fans to look up at the scoreboard and think to themselves..."so, where's the nearest bar again?"

Does that mean they're bringing both of the short buses?

What, they don't have the internet over there in Appalachia so that you have to order your tickets in person?

Yeah, LSU is pretty good to visiting fans. I think they actually most, if not all of their tickets are in the lower bowl.

It took them 30 minutes to sell out?? Around here you have to inherit tickets or be on a waiting list for the better part of your life to get tickets.

I'm just sayin!!
