But the way we made the fire led to the hire. We weren’t going to be able to get a better candidate because of the way we handled Wade.

The only way coaches come here is money. The bad news for LSU is we will continue to overpay for bad coaches unless we get lucky.
The sense of loyalty and teamwork between the coaches and administrators suck. Maybe that’s changing. I hope it is.

Wade is responsible for potential sanctions, that's how. No established coach was coming here.

Just get somebody who knows anything about basketball to find candidates. You can’t tell me someone did an in depth analytical analysis of McMahon and said “he’s a great hire.” There’s just nothing in his history that indicates it, he was hired as a favor to Woodys buddy Buzz and the results are obvious.
