As an LSU fan, who do we want to win Saturday

Arky or Bama?
As much as I hate Bama, I think I will be pulling for them Saturday, and here is why....
We get them at home, and if we beat them, we have, in effect, taken a 2 game lead in the West over arguably the best team.
Second, Arky may jump up and beat Bama, but I think they will still lose at some point in the SEC, and they may even beat us.
Basically, I think LSU and Bama are both going to go 7-1 in the SEC, and I think we beat Bama at home, but lose to Arky. That means we need Arky to lose two games in the SEC, which I think they will, in order to get the head to head tie breaker over Bama and go to Atlanta.
I know that is a hypothetical and a stretch, but its what I think will transpire, so for this Saturday, I am pulling for the Tide. What do you all think?

I'd say Bama. We know how good they are, no surpises there. Arky wins you really need to worry about both Bama and Arky....just my 2 nickles.

I have never, and will never, cheer for Bama.
ETA: I will, however, root against Arky.

I hate Bama more thany any other team in the SEC. But I really want them to kill Ark.
Nothing would make me happier that to see the Bama win streak end emphatically in Baton Rouge.

this is a win/win situation for me. after reading the sec rant for this year, i have to admit that i would love to see arky lose. however, if they win, i ALWAYS love to see bama lose.
so, it's a push.

Jeez, everyone thinks a Bama win does more for LSU.
I thought I would be in the minority and get laughed right out of here

Arkansas. I NEVER pull for Bama. I've on rare occassion cheered against Bama's opposition when it benefitted LSU (a la 2001 Gumps vs Auburn).

You should pull for the team that you think will lose more games by the end of the year. To me, that's Arky right now, so I hope they win. Bama is a bigger threat to win the west, so they need as many SEC West losses as they can get until further notice. It's all about getting to Atlanta in December.

I cannot and will not pull for Bama.

I say if you are an LSU fan, you really don't need to worry about it one way or the other.

i hate them both, although i'd rather arky win. i think bama mops the floor with them

Not sure it matters, if it plays out like i think it will we will have to beat both of them head to head.

I thought about that, but I truly believe we will have one SEC loss, to Arky. That means if they win against Bama and LSU, they will have to lose 2 other games to random SEC foes. I do not see that happening. That is why I think a Bama win is more important, because it will knock Arkansas down a rung or two and they will lose another SEC game, setting the showdown for the West in BR!
Basically, I think if Arky wins this game, they win the West.

You either missed the offensive game plans in the last three games, or missed your Methadone dose this morning.
LSU will lose the games they are supposed to lose. Miles has no vision and refuses or is incapable of developing players to compete against high level competition. In the last 2 years, LSU has gone from a perennial Top 10 team to a "Top 20" team. In the same time period, recruiting has continued to be "Top 5." Can anyone explain this? Answer anything but Coaching and you are wrong.
