As hard as I try, I feel dirty if I root for 'bama, but I dislike Penn St. just as much. I'm in a jam on this one.

My neighbor is a huge Penn St. Fan and alumni. Watched the Cap One Bowl with him and our families. I had to drink from his Joe Pa mug after we lost while he took pictures. All in good fun but I will be glad if Bama puts 50 on them. Roll Tide.

Pulling for your sec west rivals is retarded. You recruit against these teams. Any fan who really lives and breathes LSU would never do it. frick the SEC. Pull for LSU! Quit worrying about what people think about us and ooc games. If we do our part, it doesn't matter.

During the BCSNCG I pulled for the SEC so that we could keep the streak going. I didn't root for Alabama. 
Of course I want Alabama to lose to Penn State. I want them to lose every game and go 0-12.

No matter what, I always pull for an SEC team if they are playing an OOC or bowl game. Even if its the Tide or R-Kansas.

Seems like a moot point. I wouldn't give PSU much chance of beating Bama in the first place. Not in Tuscaloosa, not in September, when the heat index will be stratospheric for those Nawthun boys.

Part of me thinks this. But, there's more to the story.
1. A Bama win increases our strength of schedule.
2. A Bama win increases the perception that the SEC is better than the rest of the CFB world.
I lived many years hating Alabama, and still do now. But I kind of pitty them a little, too, after they got chewed up by ULM and then pummeled by Utah.
Lastly, I was in State College recently. I wasn't thinking Capital One Bowl when I packed, but there I was in State College, PA wearing a big LSU shirt for everyone to see. To say I was ridiculed would be putting it mildly. I hope to hell we don't have a chance to beat the snot out of Penn State this year (mainly because I hope we're in a better bowl and they're not). So if we can't put a beating on them, I'll be glad to watch while Bama does it.

Bama is the ONLY SEC team that I do not pull for when playing out-of-conference. I will NEVER pull for Bama no matter what the circumstances. I even pulled for Texas in last year's MNC game, and I hate Texas - just not as much as I hate Bama. I would even pull for SoCal if they played Bama.

i have a good friend that plays for Penn St so i think i will root for him to play good and just hope its a good game to watch... kinda leaning towards rooting for Penn St.
