You said JJ is not even a serviceable qb yet you still wont tell me what the season high for passing is....

they're too emotionally invested in their disdain for Miles to either a) look for actual information or b) conclude that they don't have all the information necessary to form a conclusion

So miles should make playing time decisions based on whom a group of fans think should start instead of evaluating the position himself?

I just hope that if JJ gets knocked out of the game, that Lee goes in and smartly audibles out of plays to success where the defense of Alabama looks silly, in the process pissing off Miles for not running his called, but predicable plays.

I'm going to reply the same thing to these threads and not bother reading through the bullshite.

Posting Guilbeau articles should be a banable offense. If bleacher report isn't tolerate, neither should this shite.

Nobody has said that they are not proud. I am very happy and proud that the team has gone this far. What you and some others don't understand is that bad decisions are bad decisions. They don't change to good decisons because you get the W. Wrong is Wrong, that doesn't change just because you win

I don't give a shite what the season high is. JJ is still the worst starting QB of any BCS bowl team or any "major" non BCS bowl team

This is what frustrates me to no end. Miles has said on more than one occasion that he wanted to get Lee into the game, yet he did not. The bottom line is that he's the head coach and he's the one who ultimately decides who plays and when, so why all this BS about "having a want" to get Lee into the game?
Because it's bullshite.

And I can point out that the offense statistically had our best 3 game stretch with JJ at QB against WKU, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. But I'm sure that doesnt matter in your eyes.

The first half of the SECCG was the nightmare scenario for LSU fans. Georgia stuffed the run and forced us to pass, which of course JJ couldn't do. We have gone from being amazingly balanced on offense to almost totally one-dimensional.

Any fanbase would be ecstatic to be in our position; and most are befuddled by our constant complaining.
I'm happy as a pig in shite for the record. Glad we made the NC again and for the most part Miles has made very good decisions this year, after 2 prior years of one debacle after another. But you can't tell me if JLEE were your son, you wouldn't be pissed off big time at how this has played out.

We have only been over 200 yards twice this season once with JL against Miss State and once with JJ against the number 3 team in the nation Arkansas. We have only been over 160 4 times the two times above and two other games. Once with JL and once with JJ (against UK and WKU-UK only beat WKU 13-7). If you call JJ an incompetent qb then the same can be said of JL as their game by game stats are very similar. However, JJ can run. I do admit that JL seems to have a better feel of the passing game but the coaches have made the decision that our running game and time of possession is more important.

ETA: For the record I dont think either are incompetant I think both are at the very least serviceable most days and very good college QBs when they are on a good day.

so it's a fact he's lying? perhaps he's willing to take the heat vs. exposing something that might put a player in a bad light.
Could be, I just can't imagine what that would be. If it's grades or something, that's so not a 'big issue'. I'm its not like the kid got arrested for a felony or anything, or he wouldn't be on the team now. If it's Lee's grades, just say it, big fricking deal.

if Lee were my son then I would probably have all the information necessary to determine if I should be pissed off, and who I should be pissed at.

How many dads does Jarret have? I could swear that Mr. Lee has 100 alters on this site.

Look, I understand the consternation here. I understand why people want Lee playing. He got them through the hard times, almost like the wife that got dumped after she got her husband through med school because he wanted to "upgrade" to a trophy wife. It just feels wrong.

The problem is that a "win" isn't a given. The team has to perform well to win. The person charged with that responsibility is Les Miles. If he was doing this and had a 10-2 record, or 8-4 record, people might have an argument worth listening to, but he's undefeated this year.

I like Jarrett Lee. Seems like a great guy. He's just more likeable to me than Jefferson for many of the reasons listed in the article. I admire honor, and always have. If winning was going to be a given, I'd rather J Lee get the credit for those wins, but until it is a given, I'll just trust Miles to do the right thing. But even if Miles is wrong on this thing and he is wearing blinders with regards to Lee and Jefferson, Miles is still the coach I want in that position.

He's the head coach and he's accountable. I'm just a fan with no stake in the matter beyond pride and passion.

What if JJ were your son? Would you be pissed that your son lost half his senior season after being arrested for a felony that turned out to be fraudulent?

Lee won't change that, their stats are basically the same. And frankly I think both have played very well this season. JJ's getting the starts now because he can run.
