He’s a fool. He knew damn good and well he was on a short leash here and he earned it by his actions at aTm.

He lasted a week into practice.

Word is, he was 1 minute late for a team meal the day of team photos. Which was the final straw.

IDK if you're joking or not, but I remember "the Follow" that Cody did with BK and BK does not like tardiness. At all.

Sonny has a post on 247 that's blocked by a paywall regarding Denver, and he's being cited.

It would be good if the team captains sat down with him to get him to understand he better get his head right.

Sadly, I don't see how this would make a difference. I wonder how many people have "talked to" this kid and how many have "explained" to him what a wonderful opportunity this (fill in the blank, TAM or LSU) is. And how all he needs to do is....
I bet he's heard it 100 times from coaches, friends, teammates, the press, former players, counselors, etc etc

Hint: he doesn't care and he's not listening. You can bring in the team captains, The Honey Badger and the entire Golden Band from Tigerland, he's heard it all before.

I'm not going to worry about team discipline or locker room cancers; BK gets paid plenty enough to worry about that for all of us.

As for Harris himself, I always like to see a young man who's struggled learn from mistakes and succeed, and even more so when his success benefits me and/or LSU. But in the grand scheme of things, if he screws it up and ends up going nowhere it will be tragic for him and a disappointing waste of god given talent, but really won't affect me that much. I'm confident our team can succeed without him, and I can't think of any other way he would likely be relevant to my life. And I doubt I will ever have the opportunity to do much more than wish him well, anyway.

So, good luck, Mr. Harris, and GEAUX TIGERS!

I think jordy us a drama queen but he said on his show this morning that he knows his step dad and that DH was possibly late to a meeting or violation of team rules etc and BK dropped the hammer, including keeping him off the team photo as punishment, and that he’s still on the team, likely suspended.

Allegedly DH gets it and should be back on track soon.

So if he’s suspended for carrying over the altercation into the locker room after that specific practice, then why did he practice two more times after that day?

I call bs on that. It’s more to it imo

Damn we need to just cut ties with him already IMO. Dude needs a dose of reality about how good of an opportunity he has at LSU.

Why would you think we need to cut ties with him when Coach Kelly clearly doesn't think it is to that point yet? I mean, we literally have nothing but hearsay and Coach Kelly is on the scene at practice and in the locker room daily. I think he knows waaaay more about this situation and this kid than any of us do, and he obviously knows WAAAAAAAAY more about running a major college football program. I think we need to just chill about this and let BK do what BK thinks is best. I don't think it does any good for any of us to go spouting off our speculations and such before then (it really won't do any good after then, either, but it won't be quite as ridiculous).

It really amazes me. You get a full ride scholarship to go to school to play the sport you love. The perks that come with it are great. You can also cash in and make money with NIL

Yet some players seem to struggle to stay out of trouble. Didn’t think it be that hard to but guess not
it ISN'T that hard. That's why 95% of players do just fine.

But there's always a few guys who just don't make good decisions. And although some can learn from their mistakes and turn it around, most don't.

And that's just the way it is.

Glad BK isn’t letting this cancer ruin the locker room. I was fine with giving him a second chance but it’s definitely nice to see he’s on a tight leash

Well then he should be in the fight business, not playing football and fighting with team mates?

Kid has a problem nobody knows what it is publicly. If it is a mental disorder exasperated by coddled life it can be controlled. If it is all attitude only he can fix it. Bringing shite into the locker room cannot be condoned. Being late when when it was a problem at another cannot be condoned. If just a suspension he would be sitting on strike two with Skenes on the mound with an 0-2 count. I hope he figures it out before he wiffs. CBK will do what’s right for the team. Harris needs to do what’s best for him and that don’t mean closing your eyes and listening to what Skenes next pitch is and swinging away.

It’s entirely possible that BK knew this would come about and was ready for it. Harris got away with a lot at TAMU and probably thought this was the same. He needed the stern correction. He’ll probably be better for it and if it does work, he’ll be a better young man for it.

What wins? A pack of dogs fighting for the same piece of meat or one dog fighting for his own? The pack wins every time. It’s ok to be a dog but the pack is always first because without the pack, you’re nothing on your own.

Unless you can prove that you can take on every team on your own and win? Until I see one player take on an entire team and win, he’s nothing. The team always comes first and he knows this. Time for Harris to grow up and become a man. At least take the right steps to get to that point. Forget playing and do the right things, playing takes care of itself.

If Harris can press the reset button and start doing the things asked of him, I’m sure he’ll win all the awards and be a great asset to the team this year. Until then, he’ll struggle. If he can’t do it here, he’s making a big mistake.
