Man, I'm trying REAL HARD to keep my excitement to a minimum but hearing an actual OC talk about "testing your imagination" in regards to getting the ball to our backs in space is making my pants tight.

I think Bird was at Indiana for a year, but yeah, that's basically what happened.

Miles still will have heavy input into the offense. So will offensive line coach Greg Studrawa, who served as LSU's offensive coordinator the past two seasons.

"a fast offense, a offense that takes it's great players and moves them around to create mismatches" "a Big 12 styled offense not a Chip Oregon Kelly type offense" " a offense that doesn't have to have the best offensive stats, but an offense that wins games"

bout time.

You would prefer the head coach and the offensive line coach have no meaningful input into the offensive game plan?

I hope you know more about something than you do about football, or else you're gonna be on welfare.

The backup quarterback. He's always the best player on the team.

This is why I wanted a OC so bad. I knew Cam wouldn't put up with bullshite play.

"If you do all the little things right, and then you get players that are talented," Cameron said, "they'll take care of the big things."

It sounds like CC will do a good job at determining the strengths of the team, and then exploit that on the field. It has seemed that the past few years the offense has at times tried to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Also, I think he has the ability to recognize what the defense is giving him, and call effective plays.

I can't wait to see how it all comes together.
