And LSU is still paying for the Mercedes they're no longer driving.

i'll bet his offense in 2018 avg's more points and a much better red zone result than Canada's .

Is the DL coach turned HC going to be meddling in SE's offense? Will he be forced to use a QB with mediocre skills that limit what plays he can call and the success of the ones he does instead of the more gifted one that he would prefer?

O pumpers: ESPN exhibiting more bias against our beloved Tigers

I'll support Steve E's efforts because I want the Tigers to succeed and I value his admiration for the program. BUT if he lets the local media get the best of him (introduction presser was an early indication he is) and he starts utilizing O-inspired combativeness, I'll be off the wagon really quick. Great coaches don't let media mouthpieces get under their skin.

also, calling SE a 2002 Saturn is also wrong as hell. i'll bet his offense in 2018 avg's more points and a much better red zone result than Canada's .

Canada has turned in 3 consecutive years of top 10 TD% in the red zone prior to arriving at LSU. He gets saddled up with Orgeron/Etling and suddenly forgets how to punch the ball in the endzone?

HELL YEAH!!! I cant wait to see those Offensive explosions against SE La, La Tech and other D1 teams with defenses ranking 90th or worse. Then brag about how great of an OC he is and LSU pts per game and red zone. Then completely ignore the offense production against top ranked teams.

A better metaphor would be buying an autonomous drive Mercedes and taking over auto controls and wrecking it into a ditch......

for a total loss and all without insurance.

But four of those opponents -- Missouri, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Texas A&M -- finished eighth or worse in the SEC in total defense in 2016. Ole Miss and Missouri were 13th and 14th in the 14-team conference, respectively. LSU lost the other two SEC games it played with Ensminger as offensive coordinator in 2016 -- 10-0 at home to Alabama and 16-10 at home to Florida.

Ensminger's Tiger offenses didn't exactly light it up against competent SEC defenses in 2016.

I want steve to do well and I’ll always support the players.

But hoping Ed Orgeron wins games leaves me feeling sleazy. Please God let 7-5 be enough to end this shite show.

Funny part if he could go 6 - 6 next year and will still get a year extension for "stability".

All that 2016 set offensive records was fool's gold against horrible run defense teams at the end of the season.
No different than this season's wins against some really bad teams.
