Don't understand the hype for either Tennessee back. Both are slightly above average.

I am hopeful that UTk takes Bama @ Knoxville.
So reading that they have two great backs is a plus for me.

Guice has to do more in big games for him to get recognition.

LF7 is #1

I feel the same way about the UGA rb's. We don't know if Chubb will be the same runner.

+1

especially since you compare them to both of our healthy rbs.

Yep, which would be why I put 2003.

I would shoot a little higher and go with 2007 Arkansas. That was their entire offense and nobody could stop McFadden, Jones, and Hillis. That trio was insane.

This could be the best 1-2 RB punch ever. No hyperbole. Fournette is a threat to rush for 2000+ yards and I can see Guice with 1000+. Only catch is that there might not be enough carries to go around.

It can be the best in the country. I'd like to see them line up Guice in the slot.

To be fair Kamara looks like the real deal had some nice games vs Bama and uf as soon as hurd is out of the way he's gonna blow up

Agree guice has been a little overhyped wasn't good on kickoffs and got crushed vs fla and Bama I'd still take williams over him but you can see the talent is there and I think he will be very good. Lf7 is the best rb in CFB 2 years running now.

So much press was that Chubb was the man before he got hurt.

Seen it happen a lot.

Alley Broussard
Shyrone Carey
Justin Vincent

They weren't awful but they weren't the same runners they were after they had knee surgery.

But Ridley came right back and didn't miss a beat so who knows.

Yeah it's pretty bad. I like the Tennessee combo...trio, of rushing threats in the backfield, but neither of the RBs are even as good as Guice and I think Hurd is a top 10 RB in the country.

Auburn being ahead of Kentucky is laughable to me personally. While I do think Jovon Robinson will be an incredible back, the rest are just meh ATM. People need to watch the RBs at UK this year. They are going to run crazy.

UGA with a not injured Nick Chubb still wouldn't be better than LSU simply because Guice is better than Michel (and I believe him to be just as good as Chubb), and Fournette is the best back in the country. People are going to be amazed when they realize just how good Guice is.

Obviously Bama is given the benefit of the doubt because of past history so I'm ok with that.

I will be so happy when this false perception of Tennessee being good is over with. This hype is stupid.

I will be happy when CFB fans realize how wrong they are about Tennessee being not good. The refusal to see potential of this team is stupid. I mean I could run off a long list of reasons why and they'd all be legit, but I've been there, done that, and won't be doing it anymore. The backlash Tennessee gets for the hype this year is as ridiculous as the praise Auburn and Geogia Tech got for the hype last year. CFB fans and media make me laugh too much in the offseason.

Keep your eyes on up comers Washington, Texas, Nebraska, Tennessee, and Louisville (aka +3 or better win column). Keep your eyes on down fallers (aka -2 or worse win column) Ole Miss, Ohio St, Stanford, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Iowa.

I do agree with this.

Ridley's is different. Who knows how good he was before those two knee injuries. He never had any significant carries before Murphy went down in the offseason and Scott and Williams went down one after another. Alfred Blue definitely lost a step and I remember SEC backs like Knile Davis and Marcus Lattimore being a shell of themselves after significant knee injuries.
