the ghetto has come to the hallowed streets of LSU.

It’s always been there. There just seems to be less repercussions for acting ignorant now.

I lived at the Highlander across from the BK lounge in 06-07 and that was the last bit of civilization before things went south. I can’t imagine how much worse it is now.

They need to arrest for possession of Marijauna on campus and much of this crowd will avoid campus.

We need to close down the ebr schools close to campus. All of them are breeding grounds for future gang members

This is similar to what NOLA did for Super Bowl weekend and it was the most enjoyable weekend in the quarter I think I’ve ever had.

Too bad it was just his leg. If it would have been something else, his lineage would die.

I smoked my entire time at LSU. Never once did I do it in an openly public place where those around me had to just "deal with it."

How is this just okay now?

Was that Legal during your time there?

If they announce that weed is banned, and make an example of arresting people, this crowd will never show up again

Louisiana is the greatest place and the worst place. Remove the worst of it and it could be wonderful. I too, was born, raised, and educated in LA. I have since lived in three different states over the past 39 years. I have not locked my car or my house since leaving Louisiana. The tolerance for the behavior that is prominent in 1/3 of the states population is the problem. Fix that and I would love to return. Other places in this country have figured it out.

There's literally no difference between the demographic change there in 2006 to today or even 1990.

Prior to Tate, LSU was buying up property and expanding its footprint north - slowly making things better. Tate stopped all that and started building in locations that removed parking spots from campus and toward the south.
