My hope is that LSU gives Army the loudest cheer they've ever received for an away game.

Looking forward to it was well. Will have a retired General and her retired Lieutenant Colonel husband with me!
These young men deserve our respect. They go to class, then practice. At the end of their 4 years, they defend our country.
Wish we would schedule the other service academies.

I’m also looking forward to getting invited to tailgates and seeing the look on host’s face when he asks me where I’m from and I point and say about a mile down the road.
But most of all I’m looking forward to ARMY kicking LSU’s arse and yelling Beat navy after we sing second!

None of Army’s players are enlisted in any branch of the military, yet.
It’s cool that they’ll serve after they graduate, but that night they’re students, just like LSU’s players.

Wrong. Army players are enlisted in the military. West Point Cadets.

They’re not enlisted nor commissioned as cadets…if they become juniors and get kicked out, they incur a service commitment as an enlisted troop..if they graduate, they get commissioned as an officer.
While attending the academy, they’re an officer candidate, just like ROTC.
