Did Arkansas use many pitchers today? Anyone know how they are looking in this category….

They used two. Maybe a third guy in the tenth....I was too sick to watch much after the top of the 10th.

Look don't worry about that shite everyone was saying that against 8&4 and we lost game 3.
We can't hit soft throwing pitchers especially lefty's.
We need some BP every day on 80-85mph sinkers.

They have a lot of right handed guys left and some LHP with really high ERAs.

I think we take tomorrow

They only used their 2 best (healthy) pitchers, both are LH.

They will likely start 2 RHs tomorrow, both are good, but we should get to them at least on the 2nd round through the lineup..if not earlier. I could also see Van Horn going all RHPs in game 2 then all LHPs in game 3.

They have other LHPs, none with good stats, but at least a few that can be a problem for us. Van Horn will throw LHPs early and often.

I truly hope Van Horn tries to bring Hagen Smith back tomorrow at some point. I hate it for Hagen Smith, but I really just want to laugh at Van Horn even if Hagen Smith dices.

Idk if they have enough lefties to go all lefties game 3

And the ones they have aren’t good. We aren’t great Vs lefties but we can hit bad lefties.

Those two lefties today were legit. And Smith was sitting 93-94 on his FB from the left side. I doubt any teams are going to mash against those two guys. We can’t afford to screw around again tomorrow though. Arky can hit and I’d be surprised if they don’t put some runs on the board against Hurd and Floyd.

I am not worried about their pitching. I am worried about our pitching against their lineup.

It’s actually quite easy to sweep a double header if you win game 1… skip always said that

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hagen Smith again tomorrow. As an LSU fan, I hope to see it. As a baseball fan (and arm health fan), I hope I don't see it.

I’m with you. After Skenes I don’t have faith in our starters. They need to improve fast.
