Peyton Pallette their Friday night guy is having TJ surgery, out for the year. I don't like anyone getting injured but it could affect LSU some.

He is good but they still may have the deepest bullpen in the nation this year. May hurt them a little but it’s pretty much just next man up for them.

Sorry to hear that. Didn’t even get to start his season before going down.

According to D1Baseball they can really hit as well. Ranked equal with LSU for hitting.

Arkansas, Ole Miss, and LSU have some stacked lineups

They had Ole Miss equal in hitting but a little less power than us.

The "but" makes it ok to be glad he's injured. Nice flex.

I feel like this is Alan Dunn’s fault somehow.

He does coach in Arkansas now.

Tennessee has two guys on the shelf right now, including their Friday night guy. Blade Tidwell is out with a shoulder and Seth Halvorsen is out with a stress fracture.

That’s what happens when you lose 3 top pitchers very late in the season and have 2 position players get sick or injured late.

They haven't been the same since that time they where they Bermuda Triangled that popup in Omaha that would have won the championship.

LSU gonna rely on their bats this year... lot of high scoring games ahead... LSU doesnt have the arms it needs. but they can swing it better than anyone...

It's baseball. All these teams are loaded.

Results will come down to:

A) who wants it more,
B) who does the little things better,
C) the mental game,
D) which staff manages game "feel" best, and
E) some luck of the draw.

ETA: I think I need to define my game "feel" bullet point. It's a coaching spidey-sense for pulling/leaving pitchers, who to go to, defensive alignments and pinch hitting. It's game "strategy" PLUS the "moment". Skip had this in spades... others, like Dave Van Horn, not so much. He might have strategy but not the "moment".

Yeah sure, name a starting LSU pitcher who got hurt and the team wasn't negatively affected. Jaden Hill?
