They are getting in the portal to protect their selves in case they aren’t happy with the new coach. Now Berry is a little different story.

Thought I think they just want to make sure they have options in case they don't like the new coach that Zona will hire. The deadline is July 1st to put your name in the portal. Most if not all may even stay there, but they are making sure they have options. Hopefully, we can pull Berry and Susac, especially with both being Freshmen and guaranteed another 2 years at minimum before draft eligible.

Berry only has 1 year left until eligible. He's old.
And I don't think Susac is coming. I want their best pitchers though

He and Susac were both in the 2020 class. They will be true sophomores eligible due to age.
