Critique is one thing but god damn they are almost perfect for the year right now.

If something isn't broke yet then no need to fix it.

If for some reason this team wins the cws there will be a group of posters still critiquing the team with irrelevant bs

So by your logic, PM shouldn't have moved Zardon from 3rd because we were 12-1 nor put Foster at 2B because we were 15-1. PM makes changes so obviously it's based on something. Why won't he move Chinea based on numbers/results? Of course I dont know. Which is why I'm here questioning it. Because most teams wouldn't have a hitter with Chi's production at the 4. Others see that. Its discussion.

Once again.
It's a sports discussion board.
If we can't talk about lineup changes, especially a guy that's swingging at pitches all over the place, no homers and only two doubles batting cleanup when there are more than one better options, then what can we talk about.
Should we only talk about how good the good things are/were?
I don't know 1/4 of what CPM knows.
I don't know as much as most Box Tards.
But I can discuss baseball players and strategy, and maybe learn more.

Look I just don't get the need to be an armchair critic when things are going great.

So here's my critique we looked like a bunch of smashed arse out there. Embrace the suck

He hit the ball hard two other ABs. Which we always knew he could do.

Starting Chi at first helped us lose this game.

Yep. Losing our DH spot and having to play musical pitchers/ PH to get Hale on 1b hurt us. But what lineup do you go with in hindsight if Hale can't play in the field?

If hale really can't play and KRob isn't an option, you leave Chi out there in that situation. But Hale could play obviously. So I don't know why he wasn't there to start.

I came in here to ask the very question..... Why the mix up defensively tonight with the same offensive lineup? Didn't get that.

Pap has struggled this year, but I'm not ready to give up on him. He could have caught and Kade could have played first.

I'd rather Bryce at first over either of those options

I would be okay with that. You need to establish a somewhat reliable bat to come off the bench late in games anyway. Sciambra is not it.

Sciambra has had some huge pinch hits for this team. He can't be clutch every time. Of the things that went wrong tonight, he's like 12th on the list b
