You’re the dummy, football is a dumpster fire and it’ll be a few years at least before we are even close to being a threat. Basketball is on the rise and will be a contender next season and every year Wade is here. Nobody knows when or if LSU football will rebound basketball is in the best shape moving forward it’s ever been in.

If that’s what it takes to get rid of Ed “ Tomato Gumbo” Orgeron, I’m all for it. There’s no reason both can’t be dominant and with Will Wade, it’s pretty obvious basketball is heading in that direction fast. Can he coach football?

Next year's recruiting class is elite and we should have a great year. This is only year 1, and we're playing better, harder, and smarter than under Jones.
Although basketball can be turned around much faster than football, you can't just expect instant outhouse-to-penthouse. Next year is when it starts.

Nothing would make be happier. I love all LSU sports but Football and basketball were what I was weaned on. Baseball just as soon have been tennis when I was coming up no one went to games or even knew the baseball team was playing until Skip got here. So it will never be the same for me as the other two...I grew up with those.
I guess one could debate the term basketball school. In my definition LSU never was...but some define it differently. There were some years where there was relatively passionate following but football even under Curley was still No. 1.
I can remember Beating Bama on the road in Tuscaloosa back around Shaq's 2nd or 3rd year. It was a big win, Bama was No. 8. I tuned in to listen to the radio the next morning excited to hear about the game and for two hours only one call on hoops the rest on Football recruiting under Curley.

Yes and not because I prefer basketball to football. The reason is right now our football program is in trouble so the basketball team has a chance to grab popularity and fans. Will Wade is going to turn this program into a winner and if he does it as fast as I think he will by the time football is back on par the basketball team will be established and we’ll be where we should be, with 2 top 15 level programs. There’s no reason this school shouldn’t be great in all 3 major sports. We have the athletes we are in the right conference and we have the financial and fanbase support to do it.

I just can't imagine any reason why or how any LSU fan could dislike Will Wade after the complete 180 this program has made compared to the previous regime.
I mean, the last few years have been school yard pick up ball and these guys are actually playing quality basketball even with the talent limitations.

You personally dislike someone who’s never publicly given you a reason to and you don’t personally know. You’re pretty much a moron and are just jealous that your loser hero will go down as the worst basketball coach in LSU history. Your boy would’ve been blasted by 30 last night and was owned by a lesser talented A&M team his entire time at LSU. Quit pretending you’re an LSU fan and go fapp to your Johnny Jones shrine.
