Underneath the original lights are sections of smaller LED panels that are constantly strobing between purple and yellow. The colors do not blend well at all.

It sucks compared to other schools who do the light shows. They improved slightly from Nicholls to the south Alabama game, but that wasn’t hard to do. They need to either make the video boards purple or just turn them off when they do the light show because the light from the boards drown out the purple from the led lights.

Some folks wanted these lights, and same folks are now not liking them. We should have stuck to our roots, and had the lights that stayed on and you could see them from Prairieville to Gross Tete.

Which is exactly why they shouldn't have done one.
Unless they were going to commit to doing it better than anyone else, it's just going to be underwhelming.
It's what LSU did to everyone else with hype videos in '19.
The choice should have been to not do it at all but people wouldn't shut up about it, so they did it and now people think it sucks because all they want to do is compare it to other schools rather than enjoy it for what it is and the imprvement over what was.

I like that the old add signs were replaced…they were so old looking but….

watched OU vs Tennessee a few weeks ago, and the reason their's looks so good is because the entire stadium pretty much goes dark while they're doing the light show. lots of light polluting the whole thing for LSU's light show

They stink. It’s the econo version 48 hr bulbs . Barely get lavender much less Deep Purple.

It is awful. If you're seated East or West stadium, the white light is blinding. The blinking is enough to cause a seizure. There was no reason to waste money on this "nega-enhancement".

E for effort. Real nice but doesn’t seem to match bama’s red and white on television. I have seen LSU’s on television.

Purple is the least visible color already, and the stadium monitors keep putting up videos that crowd out the purple. I think everyone was hoping the monitors would go full purple and just play music but it didn't. Not to mention that yellow LED also just looks like your standard visible light and gets crowded out as well.
