the problem doesnt go away with firing CMM. As long as SW is doing the hiring, we have no chance. Kinda like the Saints. Even after getting a new coach, they are making the same boneheaded decisions in terms of players and contracts

He won't be, but he will be as soon as next season ends. There will be some improvement next year with 3 top 100 players coming in, but we're only going from SEC second to last, to fifth to last. Woodward will not survive the wave fan dismay a second time without firing him. Eventually, the fans will get what they want, just not on Monday.

We had 3 top 100 players come from hs this season. Signees outside the top 20 are no guarantee for immediate results.

I got a hunch they’re negotiating a buyout right now.

No way Scott sees any chance of improvement. Stop kicking the can down the road and make a move.

Pay the buyout make a splash hire and interject new life into the program.

Woodward has to know what we all do. He is prolonging the inevitable. He made a bad hire.

Someone else, his superiors or influential donors, likely needs to decide McMahon has to go. Woodward has 0 to gain by initiating discussions around terminating McMahon.

He already said McMahon is coming back. Why is this so hard for people to get?

because he lost a bunch of games after that an ADs say that all the time and then fire the guy

I think Scott does give him 1 more year

Exactly.

It's amazing how the LSU access-reliant media can spread the AD's narrative.

If Scott couldn’t negotiate down Os buy out he has no shot in hell with McLoser. The guy is so clean it’s unreal.

Scott isn’t a negotiator. He just meets whatever demand is asked
