Yep as much as it sucks our best chance is to rest everyone for Hoover and take the second straight sweep this weekend.

A 5-game win streak with the toughest opponents not really trying to win the tournament wouldn’t be the craziest thing in the world.

Probably, maybe he gets a small relief appearance at most

Absolutely. His 4 inning, 3 run, 93 pitch outing will be key to our running the table there.

I was fixing to say this lol. We’re acting like we’re trying to save Paul Skenes. Instead it’ll be 3 and a third, 4 walks, 2 homers, however many runs.

It could conceivably be Evans Tuesday also. It just depends on which pitcher they think could rebound the best for a possible Sunday title game.

Probably the one not coming off injury. And if its close late, also possible they go to evans to close game 1

The way this team is playing we will be lucky to win one game in Hoover.

Even if he has a monster game, JJ will frick it up with something stupid like an untimely shift leading to a few unnecessary runs.

The shift cost us another game tonight we were on our way out of the 1st inning.

There is no such thing as "saving" anything at this time. Season will be over next week.

I am as pro Jay as is gets but the fact our saving grace is William Schmidt says alot about how poor the pitching staff really is.

Just horrible options this late in the season.
