Yeah, let's fire Woodward.

Bring back Joe Alleva.

but stop it with this Jimbo praise.

None of them seem to remember when Jimbo left LSU. We as a fanbase were ecstatic that we got rid of him.

Everyone was getting tired of the bubble screens. And we lost a lot of games we should have won because of his offensive play-calling.

If any of you forgot what that offense looked like, just watch the Aggy game this weekend.

Which ones were those

FFS the last 4 years he was LSU OC we lost 1,3,2,2 games of that staggering total of 8 games in 4 years which were lost due to “play calling” Auburn 06?

Also could you give me examples of coaches that never lost games or had bad “play calling”?

To your original premise at worst A&M is basically where they have been with a top 4 finish last year, hardly a “mess” and outside of some of you most viewed Fisher as a great hire but even if you disagree Woodward also hired Peterson at Washington, he got them into the playoffs and he hired Mulkey and Johnson here as well both very accomplished coaches.

The year before he left we were top 10 offense…he isn’t that guy anymore, but this is stupid.

Their offense was not going to be good this year, but their qb getting injured made a difference. Now it’s terrible.

I think you are being a bit too harsh in your criticism of the guy.

they would love that comment if Trump had said it to someone.

Doesn't matter how many downvotes you Trump-zombies pile on that statement; it's true-

Case in point: remember Trump calling for a heckler being escorted out of a rally to be thrown out in the cold w/o his coat, and "maybe rough him up a little"?

The crowd cheered, the conservative media cheered, and that's the same damn people on here saying " a coach should have enough class and dignity to ignore hecklers and not engage with them"...

Downvote away, hypocrites

What other choice do we have lamebrain?

The boosters told Woodward to hire Jimbo and so he did. Indeed, he did what he was told to do. But Jimbo wasn't woodward's choice. Jimbo was the choice of the boosters.

Has nothing to do with my point.

We as a fanbase were tired of his offense.

Granted, our fanbase isn't the most football savvy that there is.

Their offense was not going to be good this year,

But that's his thing. He's an offensive coach. It's what his entire career has been. A Year-four offense for a HC that made his name as an OC not being able to put a good offense on the field is pretty bad. Not a Great Offense (that can be granted to him) but at least a good or decent one should be expected of him.

but their qb getting injured made a difference. Now it’s terrible.

Our QB got injured last year and this year, but I see very few of our fanbase allowing that excuse to O.

I'm not saying that O doesn't deserve some criticism, but at least be consistent in your beliefs.

Fisher gets a pass by you for his QB being injured: do you give O the same pass?

I don't.

Explain why I'm being too harsh when I say that a NC coach, getting paid more than every other except the best to ever do the job, and is renowned for being an offensive genius and a QB Guru, isn't what he professes, and too many others profess him, to be.

I live in Aggieland and I can tell you that Woodward hired whom the Alumni and money people wanted, it's all on them, Woodward just did what they wanted. Another reason is that they didn't want LSU to get him so 5hat made him more desirable. Woodward is not afraid to pull the trigger and right the ship. Geaux Tigers!

Imho, he's made two hires here, and they were both slam dunks. Kim Mulkey and Jay Johnson. Yes, I trust Woodward.
