The plan was to show product advertisements on it for a few years until it paid for itself and then show video on the whole.

Same old concourse, concession stands and bathrooms

yup. bathrooms in lower bowl on east side are trash. i got to experience it for the saints-dolphins game in 2005.

we had seats in the WU for 20 years. we got a new upper deck in 2005 and nice big clean bathrooms. no issues with concessions either.

Only radical change I’ve heard on future work is removing the East upper deck. And creating a huge plaza area with entertainment space, standing room spots, etc. Right above the suites on the east side.

I don’t see them removing the east upper deck. That would mean removing suites to create a plaza that would generate less income.

Who gives a shite about the Stadium. Dump all the money into NIL. You’re literally there for 2-3 hours one day a week. Get a fricking grip.

Clock still reads “00” at the end of the first half.

Hopefully the concessions

Like I’ve said before I doubt it… no where to expand or build. Even a vendor change won’t help.. in terms of a modern stadium that holds the type of capacity we have. On the east sidelines, we have all of about 4 bathrooms and 4 concession stands for easily 10k seats that sit above row 45.. it’s beyond a joke

They’re installing new LED lighting, new and bigger video boards, and a completely new audio system.

Lights and any kind of renovation is okay by me, definitely no expansion though.

Next year will be Tiger Stadium's 100th year in existence. Some of what will be changed will revolve around celebrating that. I can see them swapping seat backs again, and if they're going to do the lights, that'd be the ideal time to do so.

Add more boxes and suites and reduce capacity by 5,000. It's not as obvious when the boxes and suites are empty.

They are going to paint multi colored seats to make it appear stadium is full during the second half.

You must not have attended any games in the last 65 years. Did you know they added East, West and South upper decks? Did you know they added club seats on the East, West and South sides? Did you know they added suites? Did you know they added over 30,000 seats in the last 65 years? Have you been in a fog for 65 years?

He was talking about the corridors UNDER the east and West sides. I sat in the East stands a couple of years ago and i was amazed at how crappy the corridors and ramps were for people that pay the second highest amount of money for their tickets. A complete remodeling of those areas need to be done.

I agree 100000%. The underside of the stadium is disgusting. No reason that it shouldn’t be pressure washed and painted every off-season. We easily have the nastiest underside of any stadium that I have been to in the SEC!

I believe the video board in the north end zone is more than adequate.

LSU’s video board is the 13th smallest of 14 SEC schools…

They went cheap, small and then covered half of it with ads.

I love that five years ago they installed the latest sound system and posted social media videos touting its sound performance.

Throw it away and start over.
