Probably. He had his chance, it's JJ's turn. Though, I guess that'd be booing Miles and not JL

NEVER.

and it's not likely to happen, either. Crowton would have left already if he thought that might happen again.

Crowton wanted JJ by mid-season.
Miles overruled him and decided to stick with Lee instead.
Lee's injury against ole miss and JJ's performance thereafter were the intervening factors that kept Crowton at LSU.

I doubt many fans will make the trip to Washington. If you meant first home game, that depends on if/how well he plays against Washington

a better question may be, is there anything LSU or WE can do to help stop people from booing our own players ? some sort of campaign ?

We've been unsuccessfully trying for years in Louisiana.

I don't think he'll be heavily booed as he takes the field, but if he throws a pick six....they'll probably rain down on him...

Of course I'm older so my view is different. But if it was your son on that field how would you react? Same thing with baseball? It's one thing to want to win but least we forget these are 18 to 22 year old kids we are talking about.

i somewhat understand booing at the pro level because they are paid big money to perform...

However, people that boo college athletes are just plain pathetic. those guys put everything into what they do and still bear a huge workload for school

It was two guys and they were booing as the team walked in. I started cheering the team on. One of the guys calls out to me "Why are you cheering?"
I lost my s!@t and yelled back "Because they're the F!@king Tigers!"

This actually sends a chill down my spine. I'm fired up now. Those chotch bags should be pissed on

What is more important: 1. Getting your point across by booing, and therefore taking any confidence away from JL, and putting your Tigers at greater risk of playing bad, all JUST to get your point across, or
2. Giving your team, that you love, a better chance of doing well by keepin your childish bitterness to yourself and cheering for the team. And by the way, nobody cares about a "booers" opinion anyway, so keep it to yourself.

haha for some reason, I don't think they would initially, but seeing has I don't expect him to be starting anyway (referring to several articles and videos), hopefully he'll come in backing up JJ and prove that he's a real passing threat.

I dont think they would initially, i think there would be a grumble. And every good thing that JL would do would be overshadowed by any little bad thing he would do. So, unfortunately, I dont think that JL would ever be accepted even if he put up astounding numbers.
