JJ's slow release is why he won't get a shot in the NFL
His release is one of the reasons he will never play in the NFL. There are a number of other reasons:no pocket presence, indecisive, very poor accuracy, no ability to go thru progressions, poor grasp of game situations, etc...

I'm not sure either is even worthy of holding a clip board right now but I would sure like it if they both proved me wrong.
Threads like this only invite us "fans" to bash players. I don't see the point of them. Anyone who watches football knows that neither, as it stands, has a strong shot of making a roster as a FA, let alone a draft pick. JJ would need to fix a lot of issues and have one hell of a breakout year to even be considered. Since Lee's probably seen the last of his meaningful playing time in CFB, I don't think he'll even have the opportunity to show anybody anything.
But they both had the opportunity to do something that most of us would have considered a dream. After college, it'll be time to look for regular jobs or enroll in grad/professional school with the rest of their classmates.

JL and JJ both have an equal quantity of "tools".
Problem is, the tools are in NO WAY. . .
NO frickING WAY. . .
NFL quality.
I said Lee might get invited to a training camp. Just like 50 other QB's that will never see a live game snap. I don't think its that big of a stretch.

I have a feeling that both these guys future is in football. But not in the nfl. I could see arena or europe. Jj might be able to switch positions and JL might be able to be groomed, but neither of these guys are getting drafted.

Draftable, not a chance. Laughable, absolutely.

this is quite possibly the most grandest moronic post ever on TR
i couldn't agree more. after having to watch our qb play for the last 3 years, neither one would now be offered a college scholarship, much less be drafted to play pro ball.

I don't think Lee or JJ are any better than Rick Clausen.
Clausen didn't get a post-draft invite.
Neither will Lee or JJ.
Some of you let your hate for JJ cause you to believe that Lee is better than he is. . .it's kinda funny.

JJ = Jason Campbell so of course he's going to play his way into a late first round selection this year.

Why does Roaad have 112 posts in this thread?
Just answer the question and move on. Quit trying to justify your idiotic defense of JJ over the last two yrs.

Arena football or NFL practice squads at best.

Wow.
You are among a select group of morons that think that those who think Lee is worse than or equal to JJ, are JJ fans/JJ defenders.
Grow up, son.
What post have I in this thread that you would say is a "defense" of Jordan?

However if LSU does win a championship are a BCS bowl, and JJ plays like he played in the cotton bowl
I don't think you realize that he was only 10-19 for 158 yards and had an interception in which he looked like he was playing middle school football.

Lee, maybe, if he clears up his head...JJ, absolutelt zero chance as a QB. ZERO. He is a poor passer and not that special of a runner.

I still stand by what I said. It's not unreasonable to think that JL may get a few looks and workouts and maybe get picked up for PS or (low chance for this) 3rd string backup in the NFL. Even PS makes enough money to live on easily, and he shouldn't get hurt. For PS:
The minimum salary from 2008-2010 is $5,200 per week for 17 weeks, or $88,400 per season, in comparison to the NFL minimum rookie salary of $285,000. (Some practice squad players are paid considerably more, however. In 2006, the New England Patriots paid third-year player Billy Yates the full $425,000 he would have earned on the active roster.)

Lee, maybe
Based on what? All the kid has is a quick release.
That's it.
That's like grabbing a DT because he can do a backflip.

I would probably pick him up. You ever seen a DT do a backflip? Didn't think so.

QUIT BASHING LEE!!!
Frick man. Ppl can have their opinion. You look like a retard putting down the 2nd string QB!!!!! Do you understand that? He is not the starter, nor the reason that LSU has lost a game in 2 yrs.
JJ is one of the worst QBs in all of BCS football, yet to prop up your misguided defense of JJ, you jump in (repeatedly) on every post to debunk any positive statement about Lee
LET IT GO!! Ppl like Lee because he has hung in there against increasingly difficult odds. JJ does not exhibit this same character trait.

It was a jab at the Saints.
They took a UFA named Walter Thomas(?), who could do a backflip.
Kid got cut (I'm not exaggerating) less than 15 minutes into his first training camp.
