No you don’t you’re happy getting drilled 29-0.
Madking of low expectations and moral victories. Sad little Madking.

At some point, our obsession with firing coaches just has to wane some...
That's the only solution many of our "fans" propose. Somewhere out there are coaches for all of our men and women teams in all sports who will lead us to undefeated seasons forever and anything less than that is considered to be accepting low expectations. Of course, only a competent athletic director can locate and hire these coaches.
It won't matter who our AD is; it won't matter who our coaches are. These "fans" will complain.
For the life of me, I don't see why so many people are infatuated with Jimbo Fisher, either.

Madking the king of low expectations and moral victories.
C'mon man. You're reaching trying to peg Madking for this. For all the relative optimism about the upcoming season, and the belief we can finally beat Bama, he's not wrong in his assessment.
Les rightfully receives hell for his offenses, but they often managed to somewhat move the ball against Saban's D. And Orgeron fired the only OC that kept us competitive with them since he took over.

You can’t be serious with this talking point?

Yes people like Madking would throw a party to celibate this moral victory.

They're not firing him now, let next season play out before you start bitching. We finished with a Fiesta Bowl win, obviously people around here want championships but that isn't going to happen every year. Last season was an improvement over the previous. It's the right trajectory to be on.

I actually posted yesterday that I think this could be his year. I think Brady was a great hire and was excited with what I saw in the spring game. I can be optimistic yet still know that Jimbo Fisher is a better coach than Ed Orgeron which is what the discussion was about. These eggheaded sunshine pumpers can’t make that distinction or separate their feeling from objective analysis. That’s what causes the arguments.

It’s better to throw a party over a 29-0 loss or a beating at the hands of Troy the way you do?

uh, has undefeated seasons
has won championships
has recruited quality QBs
has developed QBs
has coached Heisman winners
and has helped LSU win the BCS
team him with Aranda, and shucks, I guess I'm wrong tho

And if there’s any doubt about it, just look at the moral victory national championship we claimed after scoring 10 and out gaining them in 2017.

National championships as HC and OC? Conference championships as HC and OC? Multiple 1st round QBs (a position that has plagued LSU)?
For the life of you, really?

Are you joking?
Posting facts about Ed Orgeron's resume is considered trashing the team.

just cant quite wrap my head around the total and complete acceptance of Miles 2.0
Except Miles had an unprecedented tenure at a top 15 alltime program.
Calling O , Les Miles 2.0, means O will have the most accomplished tenure in lsu history.

No I goddamn well don't. I've been put in the position by our supremely ignorant fans. Some of whom are in this thread wishing that Woodward would fire O and replace him with jimbo. They don't give a frick about the damage it would do to the program and the setback it would be for this season. That's why none of you can complain about being called the names that you rightly deserve. This is O's third year and he's poised to make a run for a title. I hope none of you sorry pieces of shite ever try to climb onboard. Because if I'm alive I'm going to call your dirty no good arse out every time.
If the man shits the bed fire him but as long as the team is moving in the right direction you have to be a skuzzy motherfricker to want him replaced. It's some straight despicable motherfrickers on this board.

You honestly can't wrap your head around keeping a coach that just won a fiesta bowl, went 10&3, finished #6, with a top 3 recruiting class and with an epic class coming in next?
Losing to Bama and atleast 2 other inferior programs while having a shite offense sounds just like the later years of our previous coach and he was fired.

Bitching? I'm just pointing out the fact that after Milles had the exact same season, only a miracle saved his arse for a measly 4 more games
Yet one mention of Woodwards ties to Jimbo, and you would think suddenly O was the hottest coach in the SEC. EdO is no better than Miles, and I just think we aren't going to be suffering through any more 3/4 loss seasons under Woodward

They turned that 14 point loss into a rallying cry; We comin.
It was amazing to see. They'll be pushing for a lifetime contract if we score 23.
I'd be scared if Alleva were still here, but now we have a grown up heading the athletic department.
