Yes. And our D has no pass rush. I’m sure Aranda is aware of the issue and would fix it if possible.

Must not be possible then. It's exactly the same thing the week before. We have shut down our blitzing almost completely. Where is that successful attacking D we had at the beginning of the year?

UF's edge rushers owned us. Aranda missed Phillips a lot.

I agree. It just baffles me that we didn’t throw the ball more on 1st. We were having a lot of success. Im a believer that throwing the ball on first down will open up the run game.

Offense got the lead and the defense let a terrible offense take it right back. Elite defenses don’t do that.

What exactly was our defensive gameplan? Wasn’t to pressure qb. Great DCs don’t allow QBs to be comfortable and rush 4 most of the time

Every player on defense has a responsibility if each person does their part you have no issues wth that play. Obviously some on missed the assignment.

Aranda was completely fooled by that halfback pass. That was a critical play in the game!

O was completely fooled by that bad spot. That was a critical play in the game!

If Mullen outcoached Aranda, did Florida's DC outcoached Ed O? Just asking.

JaMarr needs to play a lot, I agree.
However, Mullen has proven he owns Aranda.

If the offense score instead of fumbling on that second drive, the momentum stays with LSU.

There were numerous plays where defenders were in position to make a tackle with no or short gains and whiffed. That’s not on him.

Those weren't on him, but Florida seeing something in our defense that made them confident enough to call a QB draw on 3rd and 7 late in the game and getting 11 yards and the 1st down is on him.

Why do you think that this is relevant? There's plenty of blame to go around. God forbid your boy gets his feet held to the fire too.

I think that’s the point he was making. All these “it was Aranda’s fault” posts are ridiculous. This loss was not on one single unit. That’s the point we are making here. Both sides did not execute well enough to get the win.

Uh... true?

He should have challenged it. There was zero reason not to.

Defense looked, to me, too many times to try to strip the ball instead of wrapping up and tackling. That was one of the main problems imho.

Yeah but it was at least a battle.
Mullen is one of the best Offensive minds in college football.

Under 400 yards and only 20 points isn’t getting owned.

And offense always always has the advantage. How often do you pick up the QB for a pass on a run play?

And Hugh Freeze owns Saban. A coordinator is not going to win every scheme battle. That’s part of football. Sometimes it becomes up to the other side of the ball to win the game.
