Idk. He's just not vocal (is that the right word for it?) enough to be a head coach imo.
Pls don't leave Dave.

Depends on who comes calling.
The longer Aranda stays the better opportunities he will likely get.

For example, I would not take the Maryland job if it opened up. If I'm Aranda I wait for a big name to come after me.

"Tomorrow's so far away
There's something I just have to say
I don't think I can hide what I'm feelin' inside
Another day, knowin' I love you
And I, I'm getting too close again
I don't want to see it end
If I tell you tonight will you turn out the light
And walk away knowin' I love you?
I'm gonna take you by surprise
And make you realize,
Aranda
I'm gonna tell you right away,
I can't wait another day,
Aranda
I'm gonna say it like a man
And make you understand
Aranda
I love you..."

He's already hung his tv on the wall. We're good for a few years.

Worked out for Kirby Smart. Obviously, Dave is working under the polar opposite that Smart worked under, but he's the best football coach on our staff imo.

Yep. I can't see him staying here too much longer. He'll probably be coaching in the NFL in 2018.

Keep hearing this as though he has himself stated as much, which he has not.If he wants a HC gig he won't have to go anywhere

Well, he did sign a 3 year contract 12/16, paying him $1.8-1.9 million/year and giving him the additional title of associate HC. When he leaves, it'll be either w/ a major college or pro program that can pay him more money; if he leaves early, it'll have to be for someone that can cover his buyout. We shouldn't have to worry about losing him in the near future to the first HC position he's offered to "any ole state university."

I hope he didn't hang it above the fireplace. Nobody wants to have to look up the whole time when watching TV.

1. Has he ever said this?

2. How many NFL DC's are making basically $2mil a year? I want to say around the time DA signed his extension/raise, I read that only one was making near what he is. I'm going do some research... Brb

ETA: Quickest I could find was Romeo Crennel was one of the highest paid NFL DC's last year at $1.8mil, so he's pretty close to the max he could make as a coordinator. Guess it just falls to his preference, and considering he has never coached in the NFL, I'm going to predict he stays in the college game. To me, he seems as if he likes teaching kids and would rather not put up with the egos in the league.
