They start the season 25-1 before coming back down to earth.

I just hope the opponents found something on film to beat their top hitters.

So they had a losing record the second half of the season? Sounds like we’re lucky they’re the #2 in our regional and we’re carching them at the right time then

Arizona State golf team just choked worse than the Atlanta Falcons in the superbowl.

I would feel better about the baseball regional if their golf team hadn't just choked greater than any sports team in history.

I'm not concerned a whit about Arizona State now. Let's get past Stony Brook first

What was their record after they started 25-1? Why didn’t your thread focus on something more relevant?

LSU was preseason number 1.

Texas, who didn’t even make their conference tournament, swept LSU earlier this year.

A lot of teams are different now than they were in March.

They had a strength of schedule ranked at 70 and only 9-9 against Q1 teams.

That’s not to say those guys aren’t good but they haven’t been tested a whole lot.

Those numbers are impressive at any level of D1 baseball competition but it remains to be seen if they can keep it up against good pitching

Agree on SOS, but the good pitching is my point.
We better have good pitching for these baws. Those numbers are outrageous, and deserve some attention on the mound.

We have to save our bullpen for them. That’s the strongest part of our pitching staff and we can not expect our starter, whoever he is, to shut them down for 7 innings. We’re going to have to lean on Hess, Peterson and Fontenot and maybe even Beck. We can’t waste those guys against stony brook
