The no-huddle......like I said, we'll have to string together a few plays before we can get any kind of advantage but we'll see what happens.

The point I am making is that your team cannot substitute nearly as much against the no huddle offense and if we can put together a few successful plays against your fully energized defensive line, they will slow down and tire from having to run the no huddle with few substitution opportunities.
You act like we've never faced a no huddle offense before. Tennessee ran a no huddle last year and our DL/defense in general did great that game.

thats a ridiculous argument since the experience sure helped give us confidence last year against a team ranked higher than you will be

Can you point to a game other than the Michigan game, that shows that App State can hang with upper tier BCS schools?
Or, even better, go ahead and just post the recent examples of you playing those types of schools and the scores. TIA.

It's hard to compare with so many changes to the team. I wish we played more than 1 FBS a year so we had a better basis of comparison but IMO the top 10 FCS/1AA teams are probably better than the majority of unranked FBS/1A schools and some of the ranked.

You're right. I forgot how awesome Erik Ainge is how a large part of their gameplan involves him scrambling around and dodging defensive lineman........

give you confidence?michigan was all hype last year evident from there record.the worst in the sec is beating them.2 bcs conference schools in 2 years try again.me and my boys would have alot of confidence playing against elon and wofford.

You act like that particular ranking had any meaning. So they were a top 5 caliber team that week, unranked level team the next, to back in the top 10 level at season's end?

Well, of course they were unranked the next week, because of US, if we had not beaten them they would be one win away from the same record as you.
our goal is to do the same thing to your rank after week 1, which would just cause the same old "they shouldn't have been ranked were they were" argument from everyone.
