wow, that's just terrible writing and analysis regardless of the message.

You can't use effect as a verb nor affect as a noun.

Incorrect. On both points.
That is all.

While the Alabama offense isn't as physical across the line as it was in 2008 the LSU defense has yet to prove they've progressed.
Just look at how many points we have allowed from the beginning of the season to now, especially the game against Florida, where they only scored 13 points. (1 pass touchdown that was B.S. becuase of Cooper's uncalled penalty). BTW, who the frick is this guy anyway, and why does he matter in the world of sports?

I'm looking for the Gary Danielson quote
He just had a 5 minute BS segment on finescum, wouldn't even pick a winner

The two most important things to look at when judging a defense off of stats is not only points per game, but also the caliber of offenses they have played. LSU has played better offenses in the non-rent-a-win games than Bama so far. Washington > Vatech, Florida > S. Carolina, Auburn > Ole Miss, Miss State > Kentucky. Vandy isn't as good as Tenn, but thats the only one. There probably isnt a huge difference but its worth noting.

LSU is also top FOUR in the NATION in redzone defense
That's one hell of a turnaround. The 2007 defense couldn't stop a team once it got in the redzone, that may have had a lot to do with why LSU lost in OT.
Between the 20's they weren't bad, but once the ball was in the redzone the chances were not good.

well, yeah if you wanna sound either (a) gay or (b) like a Kenyan politician.
easy way to remember is The Butterfly Effect gots that 'E'. It is the one to use as a noun (again, unless you are going for GAYNESS). That must mean that 'A' word is the verb.

This guy uses analogy that he forgets to spin for LSU. If our sack total is cellar dwelling, why are we just allowing 12 points per game?
That means we are better in other areas (LB & DB's). But he says different. If we would have those normal sacks, we would be allowing 8-10 pts. per game leading the nation. To be where we are without means the Def. is OK

Actually, Mark Twain said, "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and Terry Pellmam."

I thought the score was based on TDs not sacks?

I'm looking for the Gary Danielson quote about the LSU defense that he referenced, that "they look the part, but don't play the part" but can't find it anywhere on the interwebs.
I thought it was bob davie for the washington game saying that our d-line looked the part but was the weakness of our defense.
