A month ago, Scott Linehan had an interview lined up with the Carolina Panthers for a position under offensive coordinator Joe Brady,
@mortreport reported. Now, Linehan replaces Brady as LSU passing game coordinator. Small world.

If Brady saw something in him wouldn’t he have hired him? You don’t pass on people that will make a difference in your organization! Just my two cents

I don't see how you're making the connection in your thread title from what you posted.

Plenty of reasons.

Maybe Linehan turned it down for whatever reason, maybe he didn't jive with Rhule, who knows?

If you were running a unit would you have someone in for an interview if you didn't think they could help you?

Of course. I'm dumb.

Sorry, I was watching TV and completely misread your post. Sorry, I missed the part of Brady interviewing him.

Its cool. Who knows what even happened, just thought it was interesting.

Is there any connection between anyone on the current staff and Linehan?

Linehan is not an X's and O's type coach. Hes a Ensminger clone which is why this is confusing. Brady prob wanted him because hes just like slinger and wanted to recreate the magic. We needed a wiz kid.

You can’t play The Who knows game after inferring that Brady pointed Linehan out for this interview

Lol what? You don’t need a 30 year old to coach NFL passing concepts

There's a shite ton of assuming, speculation, opinion and overall dumbassery in your post. And THATS a fact. He's been in the NFL for 15 years and he's not an X's and O's coach? You know how fkin stupid you sound? He's an Ensminger clone based on what? He's a white football offensive coordinator?

Brady PROBABLY wanted him? PROBABLY? Now you can read Joe Brady's mind?

Linehan is coming to BR to get some of that Tiger magic to rub off on him so he can reinvent himself. Dude is crazy experienced at the highest level.

It’s a good thing for both parties.

Exactly, people have no freaking clue what they’re talking about. Just spouting off “young wizard” sounds good in their little brain.

Like anyone here knows what the LSU program “needed” and to pretend as though they do is absolutely ignorant in so many ways. The one person who actually does know what the program needed just hired the man and he also just won the national title and every other award known to man. I’ll let him make the big boy decisions. After all he is the HC of the greatest team ever. I digress.

Your arse deserves to be banned.

You have spewed your bullshite all over this board just because you don't agree with the PGC hire. You don't know the first fricking thing about what transpired or what went into the decision to make this hire..
