LSU is Nike through and through. The only people Under Armour is really stealing schools from is Adidas. Cal is the only brand name school I can think off off the top of my head that switched to Under Armour from Nike recently.

Grew up in a Nike fam, but UA dri fit tees are definitely on par with Nike. In this heat, how the dri fits look and feel are what I go by so if the switch was made to UA by LSU, I'd be on board with it.

Combo of both. Imo, under armor quality has been at least equal to nike for some time.

Do you think the Jordan brand is popular because of the Nike's quality or b/c he's the basketball icon?

I've been out of the shoe game for a long time. The point I was trying to make was that on UA's earnings call, the CEO stated that the reason for the growth in revenue was Curry's popularity. He could have said something to the point of "We've put a lot of effort into improving our shoe division, and athletes like Curry have helped us broadcast our message of being more than just apparel."

LSU is “very happy” with Nike, but acknowledged the Athletic Department would listen if another company “swept us off our feet.”

All (of both companies) of their products are made by kids in China, Vietnam, Guatemala, etc using the same materials at factories probably across the street... UA seems to have better designs these days

Nike's designs for the most part have gone to shite after landing NFL contract.

It is pretty weird how if LSU is considered one of Nike's flagship schools, they wouldn't even outfit the football team in the newest mach speed jerseys.

That has nothing to do with flagship schools. The cut of the mach speed template would not allow for the striping on the jersey.

Navy yes, Army no. Army has 3 winning records in the last 25 years and only 1 in the last 20 years. The days of Mr. Inside and Mr. Outside are long gone.
