Regarding the Germans thing...
There should be a function where you can mark a video that you've watched already so if it comes up again, that thread simply won't show up on your screen.
This video has been shown A LOT. But, there still are so many fans on here that it's still new to some people every time.
Some people do only pop on here 1 time a week.
