Who cares? The AP is irrelevant now.

I'm not freaking out or bitching. I'm merely letting the board know about the talk on radio. It's called discussion. Nobody is freaking out and the AP doesnt matter but it's news if we drop.

It may not even happen. Just the 3 voters they brought on this morning all said they are dropping lsu to 3

If any of those talking heads are Kanell, disregard. It is baffling to me this guy gets paid to talk about anything.

Last week while arguing that Oregon should be ahead of any one less SEC team, he made the statement, “using Auburn for example, they are in the top 10 and who have they beaten.” I don’t know Danny, how about that same Oregon team you’re trying peddle.

LSU will not drop.
All the voters know how good the Ole Miss offense was after Bama.
Bama is still the media darling after all

I don’t know bud. It wouldn’t completely shock me if they bump Ohio St. to #1 this week. It seems the committee is putting a bit more of an emphasis on the eye test.

SO WHAT! They are as useless as the polls in Basketball.
The only thing important is to win and advance. Polls are for those satisfied with mediocrity.!

No way in hell. LSU won an SEC game on the road by 21 points. Scored 58 points put up 700 yards off offense and our QB won the Heisman. LSU will stay at #1.

Yep, I'm thinking after that impressive win yesterday Clemson will be No. 1. Most likely Ohio St. No. 2. LSU? Prolly three. There is a chance LSU might drop to 4, with Bama at 3. I mean the ease with which Plumlee glided through LSU's defensive line is hard to erase.

Hey, Alabama ain't out of the mix just quite yet. Bama held MSST to seven. IMO all depends on how fast Mac Jones comes up to speed for Bama. I was impressed with his effort after relieving Tua. (Prayers for Tua's quick recovery. The guy is a baller)

I'm thinking when that the ESPN rankings come out today, that trending arrow next to LSU will be pointing down.

The AP #1 ranking is a burden. No one should GAF. Need to be at least #4 in the playoff rankings.

NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

If it happens, I’m not surprised. I can’t help some of it is somehow related to the fact that Bama’s playoff hopes took a big hit with Tua going down. We just don’t get the same benefit of the doubt that media darling programs like Bama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, etc. receive. Wasn’t the line on the game 21? We win by 21, granted it wasn’t pretty but we were never in danger of losing, and we drop in the polls? It’s ridiculous, but we all know the media isn’t always sensible in the garbage they spout. They manipulate the facts to fit whatever narrative they’re pushing this week. First it was “Bama must win to get into the playoffs”, then it became “Bama’s quality loss should be enough to get them into the playoffs”, then “Bama winning without Tua should bolster their playoff chances”, and now it's “LSU isn’t as good as we originally thought.” If we drop to #2 in the new CFP rankings, things could get interesting if we don’t win out and beat UGA in Atlanta. I can’t help but think that if we lose, the media will be pushing hard to keep us out.

Good. Let the players know they have to step up in EVERY game

We need to let the defense know they should step up in ANY game.

GA Southern might be the only game the defense showed up for
