Fortunately the AP is irrelevant and their vote doesn't matter anyway. With them, its just a popularity contest, not real football evaluations.

The National media is going to run with this like a fat kid after a candy bar. Fine by me. After week 1 the coaches poll will be the same 1 USC 2 Bama and 3 LSU. Fine and Dandy. Like I said under the surface. Let em FAP over bamma. Let em have Kiffens jizz all over their face. 2 Things to remember. Kiffen LEFT the harder SEC to go to a NCAA sanctioned USC because it was easier, and #2 is frick Lane Kiffen. He has not done JACK shite in coaching up to this point. BMFP's Hogs would have beaten the shite out of USC.

I don't understand why anyone would even care about the AP. It no longer has any value to college football.
