What coach is? What coach is even close to it? No one is perfect and they all have their shortcomings.
Hell, quite a few of those considered “great” coaches that did a hell of a lot less with just as good or better talent. Some that will even miss the tournament. And you can’t use the excuse of, “but Covid”, b/c then you have to use the same excuse for Wade if you think he has failed to meet expectations of the talent of this team.

We were plying tuba players and losing 71-38 to Texas A&M before him. LSU has been one of the best of not the best team in the SEC over the past 3 years.

I love Will Wade but it is statements like this that bring dislike from people that are not WW disciples.
"O" and CPM have coached teams to national championships and like it or not WW has not and missed coaching on the floor all together when we reached sweet 16 two seasons ago
He is young, has energy, connects with the players and recruits well. LSU had 3 players on All SEC 1st and 2nd teams this year more than any so we have the talent to make a run this season.
No need to bring other coaches down to make WW look good. He is good and let his sport speak for itself.

They had that 1 stretch where they got cocky and went 1-4, but outside of that they’re 17-4. Anyone that bitches about Wade has zero basketball knowledge.

Is Wade much better than CJJ? Without question, yes. Is his elite based on his resume? Without question, no. In fact, based on the talent he’s had, it’s much easier to argue he has underachieved. Anyone who thinks otherwise, including Woodward, is why LSU will never be a basketball school.

He's young AF and it's only his 4th year. Won the SEC regular season, almost won the tournament. I mean Jesus, the guy should go nowhere. We are now a top 4 SEC basketball school and making the tourney seems to be a forgone conclusion.
What is wrong with you people
