We were plying tuba players and losing 71-38 to Texas A&M before him. LSU has been one of the best of not the best team in the SEC over the past 3 years.

He’s far from perfect but there is no doubt he has repeared the program & has LSU playing at a higher level

I don’t think anyone is debating the program is in a better place than it was under Jones or Johnson. My big concern is still the NCAA infractions looming over

I was worried about that two years ago. They’ve got nothing though. It’s not even in the NCAA umbrella anymore. They spun it to a third party investigator because they have no hard evidence. If there was a shred of actual proof, they would have buried this guy 18 months ago.

No one questioned his recruiting. Except for the talking heads. LSU can't be as bad as they were before, with this talent. It's his 4 year track record of bad defense that are in question.
Today (after an absolutely horrendous start on defense) the defense was very good. When that becomes consistent, the doubts will cease. How does one NOT "doubt" someone's ability to do something that they have consistently shown no real ability to do? Defense is less about X's and O's as it is about culture and attitude. You can't try to be cool and "relatable with the kids" all the time. You have to light some fires to get guys to buy in on the defensive end. I'm not saying he can't do it; only that he hasn't done it enough.
If efforts like today become the norm, you can bring on all the cliche' sayings about what this team can do, because the ceiling is very high.

I think you have to acknowledge that Will Wade has lifted this basketball program to a level that is well above “not horrible.” Three top 3 finishes in the SEC in his four years as coach, including one SEC regular season title is certainly beyond “not horrible.”

My biggest concern is the fact that man spends more time worrying about things that never happen.
Think about it,all that worry when you could be enjoying one of the best periods in LSU history.
