i don't necessarily agree because i'm 100% sure he's gone.

Next year we will be breaking in some new corners, but the 2 starters will be experienced with some really talented young guys backing them up who had a chance to redshirt and will likely get involved in nickle and dime packages.

Don't underestimate the value of depth at QB in the SEC.

Just look at all of the headless SEC teams.

well without mo, and taylor our secondary will be hurting and lack that sr leadership. also doesnt hurt to have brooks and bryant, 2 srs as ur back ups.

losing adams on the line, but someone always seems to step up.

losing tbob will hurt. Its good to have that utility guy like we did with him and miller. lonergan goes down and we have 1st time starter at center.

probably won't go undefeated next year. We lose Claiborne and that is huge. Lose Taylor--another senior--that is huge. Loston is not going to be the cover safety that Taylor was. This will hurt.

We also lose two senior qbs and likely ruben randle.

I think a one-loss season is in store and another west division and SEC championship and likely national championship.

He's 1000% gone. I don't think talent will be an issue at all, I'm just hesitant to put the stamp of "better" on next year's team. The pieces are there, but it's really hard to stay on top in this game. Savor this season, because they don't come easy.

If Mett and the o-line don't have a big dropoff I don't see why we wouldn't be able to come close to this year.

Bringing back the majority of the defense and all of our RBs/WRs are Juniors or younger, with only the threat of Reuben Randle leaving. Baker will hurt and if Mo leaves that will definitely downgrade the pass defense slightly, but overall we should have just as much talent.

You can also never count out a freshman stud stepping up.

Mett will be goid, but being able to have 2 guys that can lead u to victory has been a blessing in disguise. Next year it will be all on metts shoulders. i dont expect much from the otger guys just yet.

They could be better or as good. I'd they focus an play with the same die hard desire there is no telling.

Could be special couple years ahead of us

Our Secondary is very young next season behind Mathieu, Simon, Reid, and Loston

TM7 is basically going to be a 3 year starter
Reid is already a leader back there
Simon has gotten alot of PT this year
Loston is another veteran who will be fine

It's not this year's secondary, but shite, who the hell ever has a secondary like LSU this year? Espescially in back to back years?

That's a solid core, IMO.

Please don't underestimate the value of this year's QBs.

LSU's QBs have been DAMN good this year:

(1) # 1 ranking in fewest interceptions;

(2) # 10 ranking in QB Rating; and

(3) # 15 ranking in yards per attempt.

It's unlikely that Mett will be that good. Those numbers are all best in the SEC.

I say better. I think we will be better at offensive line and defensive line but only by a very small margin... but better.

QB should be better. I think Mett is better than Lee and Randall will eventually be better than JJ, but probably not next season. Still a push at worst at the QB spot.

WR even with the loss of RR I still think we end up better. OBJ, JL will be money next year and with Mett. finally getting all the snaps RS, OBJ, and JL will put up much higher numbers.

Corners and Safeties will be better if Claiborne stays. Not likely. Even with him gone I think this is the only place we take a hit and it won't be a big one.

LB play will be a push at worst and I am thinking we actually improve there. I am confident in all of this but admit that I might be seeing with purple and gold glasses with the LB play, but I just believe that area has got to improve.

Special teams will be basically the same guys. So a push at worst!

RB, push at worst since we don't lose anyone!

TE, should have been a step down but I think it is also a push since TE play has been less than it should have been this year.

100%. Can't wait to see our awesome defense and running backs combined with a real QB. Back to back NCs.

Save your breath, Mett is the next "great white hope". We will be BCSNC next year. Anything less and Leslie will be on the hot seat.

We lose 2 qb's, a couple on the oline, some TE's, Claiborne, Taylor, baker, Brooks and some of our depth in the rotation.

Mean while, Every team in the sec should be better minus Alabama, USCe.

We have road games at arky, Florida, AU.

It will be a harder year and if we do win the NC, I will expect to see some drop off with a hang over.

The year after next we lose a shitload and are probably looking at a 3 or 4 loss season.

Better! Both lines should be better, really only adding depth. LB's, we lose Baker, Francois, Hatcher.....We should be much better, and deeper. Minter has impressed in the middle, and he gets better every game. Tahj is coming on, and we add Randle, Louis, Feist, and maybe Debo Jones. If you don't think they won't be better, your crazy!
As far as D-backs, we will lose Taylor and Claiborne, but we are stacked. We have another Rivals #1 cover corner in David Jenkins, and most likely #1 athleteIMO/Safety in the country in Landon Collins, not to mention that Martin is looking good, right now. As far as the Ron Brooks role, look for Micah Eugene to get that look. Tryrann, Simon, and Reid continue their assault. I really do think our Championship run comes down to QB play.
