We couldn't finish on 4 or 5 easy buckets right underneath the goal.
That was the difference in the game.
Although I will say that they were quick on the whistle which got Kentucky to the free throw line alot sooner than they should have.

I was watching the game at a birthday party and couldn't hear the explanation for the six men on the court; if there was one. Anybody know
This is from espn.com.
Kyle Wiltjer was fouled on the inbounds pass just as Noel appeared to be on the court before being pulled back by Wildcats assistant John Robic.
Despite protests from the LSU bench, no call was made. Game officials declined comment to a pool reporter afterward and referred all inquiries to the conference office.

I'll be so pissed if Kentucky had 6 guys on the court.
LSU was down 1 with 3.9 seconds left.

Is it possible that the conference can review the tape & reprimand those officials? And if on review, it looks conclusive, they could perhaps not get to officiate a game?
Doubt seriously if this would happen, of course.
But does anyone who has been an official know if the association ever reprimands its members behind closed doors if there is proof a major call was obviously blown.

Our coaches cerainly thought they did. Slimey Cal might have gotten a little heat for that one.

I hate how they can't review stuff like that. Or can they?

If we find out Kentucky had 6 guys on the court can we replay the last 3.9 seconds of the game starting with LSU's technical foul shots before a game during the SEC tourney?
Maybe that's only in the NBA.

I really believe this team can make a nice run in the SEC tourney this year fwiw. If we aren't on Florida's side of the bracket we have a chance honestly

I don't think so but I hope they do. They just don't have the depth. They play better when playing helter skelter and I don't think they have the legs to do that for 3 or 4 days.
But I don't guess anyone has a good explanation on the six men situation. I don't expect the league to have a comment.

Stop complaining about the refs!!!! There is not a nation wide conspiracy against LSU. It makes us look pathetic!!!

I'm not so sure about that, but I do think us capable of better play than we exhibited prior to this game, and I think today proved that.
I go back to 3 missed layups, one each by Coleman, JOB3 and Morgan that I'd sure like to have back. Sure they would too.

What about the non-call at the end where KY had 6 on the floor. That should have been a technical. Why wasn't that reviewed? Everything else is. Could have made a big difference.
I haven't seen the video but numerous UK media tweeted that Nerlens was pulled off of the floor before the ref noticed it. I'd say they can't review this due to a WKU game a couple years ago where they lost because the other team ran a play with 6 on the court. So what I'm guessing is the refs weren't sure so they let it go. If it was noticed, you probably win the game.

Pretty much sucks for LSU.

I though we had a few calls go our way in the first half, but UK got most of the calls in the second half, except for that intentional one, which should have been just a regular foul. Its part of the game, and we at least had some go our way. The 6th man thing would be huge no-call, though, if proven...that would have definately changed the game.

The half of the court on TV showed LSU in man coverage on the throw in. They aren't covering the throw in but there are only 4 LSU guys in the shot.
Logically the 5th LSU defender is covering the 6th KY man.
