Imagine what this team would have been like with them a uited up. I realize they got paid and there was the risk of injury, but I gotta believe each is wondering what could have been.

I think at least a small part of White regrets it. I know it was a hard decision for him and he loves LSU.

He made the decision with his head not his heart and it is hard to disagree with.

We were undefeated, won the National Championship and had a Heisman trophy winner....and by all standards, may have had the GREATEST single season in college football history.
And you are imagining what kind of team we COULD’VE had ?????
What IS your drug of choice ?

Our corners were so good, having Greedy back would have been a small improvement. Devin White would have been the second best player on the team and would have made this defense scary for opposing teams. Burrow would have had less stats if DW40 was on the 2019 defense.

I highly doubt they regretted making millions this past year while their buddies played for a college championship.

They moved on the the elite level and made money and do you think for one second Joe Burrow is regretting not having one more college season.

I think Greedy does, but not because he missed out on a national title, but because he was drafted by the Browns.

Burrow has accomplished everything possible st the college level. His situation is not really comparable to White/Greedy

Lol how quickly y’all forget greatness.

Devin easily would have been our best defensive player.

I know Stingley was Great but let’s not pretend like Florida and Alabama didn’t have a ton of success against him.

Devins the best LB in LSU history and a top 5 defensive player ever

I think they were saying second best on the team, as in second to Joe Burrow

Of course White regrets it. Dude loved his time here and really didnt want to leave in the first place. It was in his best interest to leave, but I think a little arm twisting by O and he would have stayed.

i watched an interview on the week prior to the championship game with Devin White where they asked him that very question. (Paraphrasing) He said he had no regrets leaving early, and loves where he is, and loves the team he's a part of.

I don’t want to use the word regret, but I think maybe both have a tiny bit of jealousy? As in, they wished they could’ve been a part of this run and team.

Devin really couldn’t improve his stock at all. He went about as high as a MLB is capable of going. No brainer, he maximized his earnings and his earnings window.

Greedy could have went higher but would he have? Put him back here another year and frankly I think he’s playing in a lesser role, what we tried with Flott when he was healthy. Greedy doesn’t start as CB1 or CB2 but plays on the outside in nickel packages and Fulton moves inside.

So I don’t think either could improve their stock much, and they got paid. They’ll take the money over a ring (we all would if were being honest). At the end of the day, hard for them to regret that.

White didn’t want to leave but he felt like he had to.

Who would have known LSU would go 15-0 the next year.

IMO there wasn’t a huge gap between Queen and White, especially the last half of the season.

I can't really say whether or not either has regrets, but if we did have both back this past season I think it's entirely possible we'd have the absolutely positively inarguably greatest team of all time. The only knock on us was our defensive struggles early and it would seem very likely those two would have taken the defense up to a higher level and would have kept us at an elite level all season. Would have been awesome to see but I wouldn't change or trade this season. It worked out quite well if you ask me.
