JV has been dead to me ever since Jacob Hester scored a 30 yd. TD on a middle screen, and they captured a pic of Vincent looking like somebody had just run over his best dog and shot his grandma.

If I remember correctly, the issue wasn't Hester's knee, but his forearm, which was down before the ball broke the plane. They initially called that play a TD then overturned it after review because the forearm was clearly down before the ball crossed the goaline.

We agree on the Herm call. It was a terrible call that gets overlooked that year because of the Auburn ref debacle.

Mauck fumbled the exchange. He also threw an ill advised pass down the middle early in the 4th quarter with us up 21-7. The guy nearly had a pick six except Michael Clayton ran him down.

Vincent was a star in that game.

Yep, 28-14 is right. Russell had an incredible game that night, something like 18-21 passing. Keiland had a long touchdown run and Doucet had at least one touchdown as well.

That game also gave us this:

No, it wasn't the Bama game. I know that, b/c I was at the game where it happened, and I didn't go to the Bama game that year. I went to the Arizona game, and one other. I think it may have been the Arizona game.

I didn't notice it at the game, but somebody showed a clip of the sideline after hester had scored. Everybody was cheering except JV, who looked like he had just been punched in the stomach.

In 2007, Hester said that the RB's were a lot more supportive of one another than they had been in the past. Hester, Scott and Wiliams were buddies in 2007, but I guess JV wanted his carries in '06 (I guess it could've been '05).

It made it even sweeter because the OU fans got some confidence and we smacked them back down to Earth.

Hester scored twice in the Arizona game, but never on a 30 yard middle screen. He scored on about a 5-10 yard middle screen and about a 30 yard run. Either way, that was probably the game you are thinking of.

I never was mad @ him for that. Mauk fumbled the following snap. JV had nothing to do with that.

Kidding nah it was 6 years ago and we won the game so no hard feelings, besides he was major at getting us to that game with the season he had.

1. He didn't fumble the ball

2. He was the MVP of the game.

3. You suck.
