If it was the Cox broadcast, I would subscribe just to hear the Lyn Rollins cliches in real time.

BTW, I thought I read on TD a few weeks ago that they wouldn't be selling the in stadium radios this year. Maybe I'm mistaken.

There is about a 8.5 second delay to allow insertion of the proper player names into the playcal
Then they need to delay it about 10 or 15 more seconds cause obviously they don't have enough time to catch every mistake.

I actually wish I could find a way to delay 98.1 a little longer to get it in time with the TV broadcast

Someone makes a portable digital radio that allows you to set the delay but i cant remember who it is. Maybe somebody on the board knows.

THEY DON'T Two of us each bought one, lasted about 10 minutes, I went to look up the guy and got my money back. They are a piece of trash!! If anyone on this board got a good working one, consider yourself lucky!!

which LSU doesn't have the clairvoyance to update once a quarter-or more-or their HD-Tron

The stats are shown on the scrolling screens beneath each set of suites (well suites and the stadium club/press box). They update pretty frequently or at least last year they did.

98.1 delays their sh!t specifically to push people to purchase them, it seems. Maybe not, but its worth a conspiracy theory, anyway.

Why would anyone listen to the game if you're at the game? What is Jim going to tell you that you don't already know

i cant see for shite apparently. i like to know exactly who is on the field. by gametime i definitely cant tell which receivers or running backs are on the field.

I dont listen to a radio or anything when I am at a game, but one of the reasons I must rather watch on TV than go to the game is because you get so much more out of the broadcast that you dont get while attending the game.
