I assume the point was that Auburn is projected to finish 2nd in the West but plays 3/4 hardest games on the road. Odds are they lose at least 2 of those.

That's the thing. Everyone is complaining that LSU's schedule is difficult. While many of the opponents are certainly good, the matchups (for the most part) are favorable.

As you mentioned, LSU gets UGA, Bama and Miss. St at home. They play a "neutral" site game. But that site will be far from "neutral". I expect LSU fans will outnumber Miami fans at least 2:1, if not significantly more. At Auburn is a tough matchup, no question. But other than 2014, LSU has always played tough over there since 2004.

Florida, Ark. and A&M won't be "easy" games. But all 3 have new coaching staffs in transition years. All are expected to be better from last year. But just how much so in year 1? This might be the season to get them on the road as opposed to two years down the line.

All the O fans keep saying we have the country's toughest schedule. Truth is, we have the 3rd toughest...in the sec west. But that doesn't provide good excuses.

Well you might want to prepare yourself for a hell of a game against State. They beat the dog shite out of us last year and they have a lot coming back. State is no longer intimidated by LSU and Tiger Stadium. We are 2-2 the last 4 meetings.

3-22 vs. LSU in the last 25. They have a new coaching staff which I am sure you think are geniuses but I don't.

The talent li evel between the 2 teams is far in LSU's favor and regarding last year's game, it was an anomaly and has nothing to do with this year.

Yep they have to replace 4 offensive line starters and their top two RBs. (But none of that is an issue in the mind of the media) They will lose two of those three. Anyway.

We have Bama and State in BTR. Auburn on the road probably determines a lot. We will beat Miami in Dallas.

We beat Miami and UGA. We lose @Auburn and Bama.

Outcomes of the State, @Florida, @A&M games will be the difference between 7-5 and 10-2.

I personally think we are much better than State and Florida. Out of all of those 3 games, I’m most concerned with A&M because Jimbo and that program will have that game circled big time this year. Jimbo will want to make a statement to end year1 with a win over LSU.
